I'm new to vaping so everything is confusing to me. I have a notebook beside the computer that I write down stuff that I want to try...lol

Youtube helped me out alot, watching reviews on mods (mechanical and apv), as well as having friends that got into vaping before me.......

Heck I've only been into vaping for a little over a month and I don't even want to know how much I've spent so far lol...

Agree with OP & others about it escalating quickly. I thought it would be an $100 outlay + juice and from that point I'd be saving money Vs analogues. It seems I was wrong.

I got my first ecig on Monday - an ego-T starter kit. Bought some VG from the pharmacy and by midnight I was testing (and rejecting) my own crushed coffee bean flavored juice. I had no chem kit so I ended up fitering it through a lycra undershirt and then kitchen towel.

By Thursday I'd spent another $100 at GH1 on cartomizers, 100mg unflavored nic and odd bits. Then $60 of flavor from the Perfumers Apprentice. Tomorrow I'll be trawling Korean baking supply stores to get some PG. Just need to get a few measuring cylinders and a funnel and I'll be cooking like Heisenberg :) Its freaking impossible to buy syringes though. Thanks Nanny State; what am I a smackhead?

Already I'm thinking, "yeah lets get a nice tank" & "Hmmm... rebuildable....interesting"....

The only thing restraining me is my reluctance to pay shipping costs and concern about evil customs inspectors.

Vaping (and mixing juice) seems awesome. Before smoking was an activity in itself. It what I'd do to avoid actually doing stuff. I was 2 PAD so it kept me pretty busy. Now I have all this free time and a new hobby to explore.

^ You took a leap in the opposite direction of most! I'm yet to try cooking my own juice, i'm more into getting a mod and experimenting with different gennie setups. Let me know how they turn out. Be sure that you are doing research and mixing everything correctly. That raw nic is some nasty stuff. Be sure to wear gloves.

Got interested in vaping one day when I went to my local tobacco shop to pick up my RYO supplies. The stuff looked interesting, and I kinda asked the shop keeper about it. My wife and I call him "the talker." He's a great guy, always keyed up and willing to help.
He told us that vape supplies are now half of his business. It's something that's taking off big time.
Picked up a couple eGo kits (1100 mAh twists) a couple tanks and some juice. That was on a sunday. By wednesday, my wife and I were 100% off of analogs.

Fast forward to today, a little more than 2 weeks later, and my Tesla just came in the mail. My wife calls it my "vape cannon" because it makes my eGo look like a twig. I'm having much more fun vaping than I ever did smoking analogs.

Converted my brother-in-law, a few of the guys at work, and both of my parents. Working on converting my mother-in-law...

I started with 2- Vision 1300 mah Spinners and a VIVI Nova tank and a Kanger T3 and 10 5ml bottles of juice. Now I have a Joytech Evic and just finished mixing my first 3 10ml bottles of DIY juice and bought a gallon of VG and a gallon of PG and am well on my way LOL. I have only been vaping for a little over 2 months after smoking for over 35 yrs. !!! I am now over 2 months without smoking cigarettes for the first time since I was a kid, gotta love it!

I haven't gone new toy happy, but my husband has! I'm still rocking an e-go with a rebuildable tank while my husband has bought a couple diferent twists, a silver bullet, 4 different box mods, 2 vamos and the latest was a singelei 13a, various atomizers, cartomizers and rebuildable tanks. We have a group that gets on webcam chat on Fridays and one of them is the worst influence on my husband when it comes to "oh, you really need to buy this mod"! Never have your wallet within reach when around one of them!

My partner claim vaping is as bad a owning a boat - the boat is a hole in the water you pour money into and, vaping is a stick in the air you throw money at LOL.

It took me six months to get to it, but then I went Provari happy, had to have tow, with just about everything I could find to put in or on them LOL. Now just how does one Provari end up costing over 500.00 ? LOL.

Glad I did it too, I like my pet Provarii, and all their toys. :)

I own a canoe and I vape on a tight budget. It IS possible to not go too far overboard, that being said I've spent more than a couple weeks eating REALLY cheap to get the money for the next new toy a little faster! :)

I set a budget of $75 a month going forward and hope to stick to that.

Well I am up to $90 already for September but got juice from AVE, HHV and ECBlend that all need to steep. Also ordered a third iclear 16 because I really like them; a SMOKTEch Artemas carto tank which I think is one of the best priced tanks out there; an extra Kanger EVOD (first two I ordered were clones and one already in the trash); and some 2.5ohm SMOK cartomizers. That really gives me all that I need as far as toppers, now having a Phiniac, 2 Artemas tanks, 3 iclear 16s, 1 iclear 30, 3 EVODS, 2 Protanks and lots of cartomizers and heads for all my toppers.

I have the iTaste MVP 2.0 on the way, got an eGo Twist two weeks ago and have enough eGo batteries and MVPs (2 total when I get the 2.0) to last me a while. My ejuice box is full with already steeped juices and those in various levels of steeping, so I won't need anything there until I want to refill one of my favorite flavors.

I should just stop coming here to see what is new and I'm sure I'd stick to my budget.
