This afternoon I left my Bolt in my purse not realizing the way I had it lying, it was firing for about an hour! Thankfully nothing exploded but my battery (trustfire 18650) has a few spots where the plastic melted. Would you continue to use it or did I seriously press my luck already.

Don't leave batteries in your mod in your purse. check, got it. geez!

The Altsmoke BB mechanical mod has a similar horn firing button as the Bolt. Since I wear employer provided uniforms for work, I keep my street clothes in a locker. I had just moved on to mods from ego style batteries, and vaped during breaks in the locker room. I generally tossed the BB into a side pocket of a pair of shorts, hanging in the locker.

Well, long story short, the horned button of the BB got compressed inside the pocket. The 14500 protected battery went into thermonuclear runaway and vented inside the BB. Below is that battery:
