Thanks for commenting! I have been leaving my 2 cents here and there, but sometimes I feel leaving it to the pros is more effective. This is the tough leg work that hopefully will sway public opinion!
He is not a scientist or a journalist apparently. I left him a comment, too. Disgusting, his lack of respect for writing. He got paid by someone to write that?
It's an Op-Ed, so he wasn't paid, but it should have been clearly disclaimed that it is solely one idiot's opinion.
I don't think you were rough on him. Was I unclear about my opinion that he's an idiot? The problem with pieces like that is that some people will believe it's a real article.

the guy just sounds like a smoker who is afraid that there is a healthier alternative out there and that it might actually take away all his excuses to not quit smoking,i have meet a few people like that in the past few years, some even get angry when you tell them its better then smoking and has to be safer.

My lioness likes her twists. She tried a lavatube and rarely/never uses it. She is a lioness of simple tastes. But when she sees the Provari, she may shift her position on the issue, I suspect. I am prepared to get her one if she would like. Right now she is feeling guilty cause I spent some money getting her eyes fixed for her so she won't need glasses anymore. So I think she feels like she needs to not spend money for a while, no matter what I tell her.
I don't think he's a smoker. I've had a lot of smokers come up with inane excuses to keep smoking, but his tone seemed a little too Holier Than Thou.
I have met some, too. "You just need to quit" they tell me, while they are smoking. One of my buddies got angry when I was vaping in my car and would not permit him to smoke. Too bad, so sad.
