That came out nice. I really like it, it's very appealing.

Thanks 5cardstud. I have the indulgence so I didnt need to make this. But now that I have made it I realy like it. The batteries dont rattle like they did in the indulgence. That just bugged me, plus I wanted to have a 6V tube mod that didnt cost $60.00!!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of a "true 5v" with normal carto's my sweet spot is around 4.2-4.4, with the ce2's its about 3.4-3.6, that why i want to make it variable voltage! I hope I can get it done, I guess if I can cram it into a flashlight, I can probably make this one work too....but without having it in my hand, I just dont know yet! Will def post pix when I get it done!

Ahhh, I dont know if there will be enough room for that. There might me, just have to get creative. Im liking it with a HV addy. Hell even with a standard resistance carto it vapes well. Cant wait to see it when you are done!

Yes it was. If I wanted to take more time I could have made a mechanical switch out of it! There are several different ways this could have went together. The bottom spring came from an old flashlight. I really like this, it is very solid feeling. I had fun building it. Next up are some fistpacks and a tekk. As soon as I get the parts in.

The Tekk is a great mod! easy 5v regulated output, two 18650's, you can charge it from any USB and also use it to power or recharge USB devices. I can vapre from it, and use it to charge my cell and mini-pump! Make sure to use a switch that can be soldered right to the atty to attached the atty that way because the top face is flimsy and won't support it. Others have taken a battery out of the Tekk to put in a juice but I can't get it to work on one so I wave a juice pump strapped to the side.... any mod i'm serious about has to accommodate a pump! I'm gonna make my second Trekk soon.....

I have parts for a VV but am not motivated because I'm getting great vapor from the Tekk at 5v and the mini-pump at 3.7v with a LR atty. I'm not sure I'd benefit much from a VV. I have some HR atty's but not in a rush to try because I've heard it's real easy to get a burnt taste at HV... I'm good where I am now between the mini-pump and the Trekk!

Your mod looks as good or better as commercial units of the same type and with a nice solid feel to it, you have a winner!

Yeah, I am excited about building it and using it. Between the Tekk and the fistpacks I dont think I am going to need any other mods. Doesnt mean Im not going to build them though!

The Tekk and mini-pumps are my main vapes. I keep a couple minis with different flavors handy. Here's my Tekk with the juice pump. It may not be pretty with the bottle on the side but it can vape heavily for 2 days+ w/o charging or refilling.

I want to take a battery out to put in the juicer but can't. This is the setup until I can find a new housing to hold everything.

I just mic'd the ID of the tube @ 17.72mm So I would have to say yes it will fit. Going to order one and try it! Should be good with a nice LR atty or carto!

That's what I was thinking. Radioshack has these also, at double the price, but I am impatient so I bought one. The tube is perfect for the 17670, but with the one I got from Radioshack, the entire top is a single plastic piece, no metal. I may buy another one or two online to see if the top is like the one you have, or I'll have to dremel this one down without breaking it.

Nice find prophetz!
