I'm finally getting around to spending some more time with Rose. What a powerful flavor! It is truly like vaping the flower and a little bit goes a very long ways. I still find it to be a flavor for a particular time and mood but I can see a higher use for it. In the event I find myself vaping way too much, I'm thinking a switch to Rose will be a natural way to put on the brakes. Not because it's bad at all but simply because it's such a powerful flavor. If you love roses, this is definitely a juice to have in your stash.

In further playing, I've found it also can be a valuable blender. I have a cigar liquid from another supplier that I'm not all that fond of. Mixing this 50/50 with Rose works well. The Rose is strong enough to completely overpower the taste of the cigar liquid while the other liquid serves to mellow out the power of the Rose and add a slight nuance that is rather positive. It makes a very pleasant combination.

Of the liquors I've tasted...I absolutely LOVE whiskey, brandy....dark liquors...etc. Would the rum be comparable to that flavor? Again, I'm not too keen on liquors because I don't drink, but if I did...I'd probably go through a gallon of Johnny Walker Red or Black label a day...

I thought we were talking about booze

Don't worry, you'll enjoy the Tobacco flavor. If you only order one flavor, this is probably the best way to start.

Trapped within my imagination
Anybody that has tried the rum..Could you tell me how the throat hit/lung hit is with it..Right now I'm getting mine from a different supplier but, they only carry 36 mg...I do not like rum but, I love this flavor..The one I have tried has an awesome lung hit ( above average)..I add it to about all my fruit flavors to boost them....

I don't know if y'all watch Matt's website or the WYS subforum but he just reduced his prices today.

So he has the most delicious juices, bulletproof packaging, a free travel bottle with every juice bottle, immediate $5 flat rate shipping (free on a $60 order), 36 mg strength, 30 ml bottles and now, another two bucks cheaper per bottle.

Heh, dang shame I already ordered this week.

I'll be reviewing more juices as I'm able to spend time with them. Since there's interest in the Rum flavor, I'll start with it. I'm vaping 18 mg straight so I can experience full flavor without spinning my head. As it turns out, this is not exactly the best plan. For my taste, this one needs a cut to dial down the intensity.

In the category of uniqueness in flavor, this one scores high marks. In the category of power, it's through the roof. In the category of trueness to name, it doesn't do so well. If you're eagerly anticipating the taste of a finer rum like Appleton Estate V/X or Bacardi Añejo, look no further. It isn't here.

What I get out of it is an aromatic blend that's mixed drink all the way. Paper umbrella drinks and candied liquors aren't my forté but I'll try to describe what I get out of the Rum. Imagine the taste of a sweetened fruity rum, perhaps something like a pineapple. Hit it hard with grenadine and other fruity essences and you're getting close. Add a touch of the very fragrant gardenia blossom and we're almost there.

It is a very powerful and tropical taste.`If you like to drink from the big punch bowl at a Jamaican beach party, you'll enjoy this one. If you prefer the taste of a fine liquor taken neat or on the rocks, Rum won't turn your crank.

Wow, this is the most amazing juice. The complexity of it blows me away! I was planning to spend a few hours with it before moving on to evaluate another liquid. Hah, no way! I took a taste this morning and can't break loose. The stuff is that good.

As Tallgirl observed earlier in this thread, Caramel starts out with a tangerine flavor. Indeed, when you place a drop of it on your finger and spread it around to warm, it initially offers a strong bouquet of tangerine. As it dries, the aroma changes. The tangerine quickly gives way to pure caramel with a lingering intermediate phase that includes the pleasing smell of coconut.

It the same when you vape it. The first puffs of a session give you the nice but quickly fading taste of tangerine. The tangerine gives way to pure caramel with a touch of coconut. Further on in the session, the flavor of coconut slowly gives it up to burnt caramel. A taste like the best Mexican flan made by chefs who know the torch but at the same time, with none of the sweetness.

The flavor develops like a camaroon wrapped CAO which is another one of the superstars from Nicaragua. A world-class $10 cigar. The Caramel e-liquid is an excellent asset for those who like to blend for outstanding taste sensations. There will be some wonderful combinations found when mixing with Vanilla, Tobacco and Chocolate. Camaroon and maduro CAO's are some of my all-time favorite cigars. With a foundation of Vanilla and some support from Tobacco, heavier on the Chocolate will swing the taste toward maduro. Heavier on the Caramel will chase it to camaroon.

Caramel will also be great for anyone looking for a most delicious standalone juice with a ton of character.

I am very impressed this liquid and anxious to begin uncovering it's full potential. Five stars to WYS for this work of art. It's a winner!

I use well broken in 801 atomizers and a manually switched battery pack. This battery pack holds three 14500 AA sized lithium batteries and produces a consistent and constant voltage that exceeds 4v all day long.

I fill a clean cartridge with the juice I'm reviewing. I exhaust the juice in the atomizer and drip and draw until I'm running clean before I install the cartridge. I generally top off a few times before coming to any conclusions.

Not so with the current review of the Caramel liquid. I've been topping up for three days now. I have more liquids to review but I can't seem to quit puffing on this stuff. It's just too good. Somebody help me!

Hi Nette,

I don't want to convince anybody to do anything. All I want to do is provide the positives and negatives based on my opinion, my experience and my personal taste. Since I'm not a cigarette smoker and smoke for different reasons, I have a different perspective. When it's time for me to smoke, I may spend an hour deciding what cigar I want and I have more than a thousand to choose from. My opinions may not be valid to the typical smoker because I typically smoke for taste and what suits my mood.

The best I can do is honestly present my findings, both the good and the bad. Ideally, this may offer people a better idea of what to expect should they choose to try them out. This has to be better than ordering blind and hoping for the best.

This liquid definitely tastes like cola. The strength of the flavor is good but not overpowering. It held up rock steady throughout a night and a day of tasting. It has a slightly industrial character to it. To me, this is no different than drinking a cola. I get the same sensation. Because I haven't drank cola since I was a kid I really can't identify the flavor as being closer to the C brand, the P brand or the R+C brand but I imagine it falls in line with one of them. Anyone who wants a cola flavored vapor should give this one a try. The taste is true to it's name.

I don't have too much to say about this juice. It's a simple review of a simple liquid. For my preferences, it's too sweet and basic. Some interesting blends may be possible but I think I'll just let my wife take custody of this bottle since she's a fan of coke in a can. Maybe it will suit her taste a little better.

Edit: My wife does like the Cola. She likes it a lot.

I hope y'all don't mind but I'd like to say a word about my old friend Wayne. He had COPD and an assortment of other smoking related illnesses. He was my age and never could quit the cigs despite all the dire warnings. June has been a bad month for him lately Three years ago in June he had a bad heart attack and barely survived. Two years ago, he had a stroke and was trashed for months. Last year he made it through the month clean. Today, he left the office to go to lunch. Before he had his last meal, he had another heart attack. He called his wife on the phone as it was happening and got his truck pulled off the road before he crashed. Unfortunately, this one finished him. He was gone by the time the ambulance got to him.

I wish we knew about vapor before it was too late. It may have helped him. Vaya con dios amigo.

I just got my super high 36mg.
Vanilla in the mail from Wet Your Stick.
Ordered it yesterday and got it today.
That's as fast as it gets!
Came in a nice postal box and bubble wrapped.
Receipt of purchase and a few business cards.
Bottle was sealed.
It has a nice clean easy to read label with an expiration date,
ingredients list, and it has another date that must be when they bottled it.
Anyways it's packaged very nice.
The vanilla flavor is Very nice.
Has no nasty after taste and it mixed well with my coffee flavor.
Very smooth.
Also included with each bottle ordered is a nice little travel bottle.
This is the freshest best tasting e juice I have tried.
I have found my juice supplier!
The liquid is lightly tinted with a red/orange.
It's clear, not foggy.
It smells great.

Vanilla is a wonderful flavor. I'm thinking it's the most important base flavor in my bag of tricks.

At this point, it's looking like 40% Vanilla and 20% each of Tobacco, Chocolate and Caramel may become my preferred blend for everyday usage. This gives me a tiniest touch of sweetness with a boatload of complexity and interest. It's very satisfying with a strong sense of real, high quality tobaccos and it seems to be something that may never grow old.

Thanks Moonlighter.

-------------------

I also wanted to add a bit of info on how I do my taste testing (and vaping in general). I modify our cartridges for better, more consistent liquid flow and consequently, a better and more consistent flavor. I add opposing ventilation ports to the mouthpiece and the north end of the cartridge and/or incorporate a small interior ventilation straw.

just search the site for "straw mod" and you will find it. I use this Mod now on all my carts (even my tiny 401s!) and it works very well. I havent tried any WYS liquids yet...but Im planning on ordering as soon as i get back from vacation (quantity will depend on spending habits on said vacation!) :) I was wondering is anyone has tried the banana yet? Seems like mixing it with caramel could be a dietary substitution for dessert!!!!

And Crazy...my deepest condolences

Be Well and happy Vaping!
