Matt of WYS has recently introduced what I'm assuming is a custom formulation of RY4 that he calls WYS4, and I picked up a sample with my last order to try it out. I swear by his Cuban Cigar, and figured I'd broaden my horizons a bit from the rest of his selection. The strength is 24 mg. I did purchase it of my own accord and will endeavor to give a fair and honest report on the liquid.
To put things into perspective, my only prior experience with a RY4 has been from Midwest Vapor and Nhaler, so I can't say "WYS4 tastes just like the RY4 available from __________." Since I mentioned The these two suppliers, the closest I can compare WYS4 to is Drew's RY4 at Nhaler.
WYS4 has a light, golden tint to it*. The smell is familiar to anyone experienced with RY4-- a light, smoky caramel aroma with hints of tobacco. Flavorwise, I'd categorize it as medium in intensity, slightly stronger than Nhaler's RY4. There is a light sweetness on the tongue and back of the palate upon inhaling. The flavor itself has the same characteristics as the smell, though I have to say, I could detect a similarity in undertones with the Cuban Cigar. Since CC is my go-to, day-to-day vape, I count that a good thing. There's the smoky caramel/tobacco expected from this flavor, and it's all in all, a very well rounded flavor.
Throat hit is satisfying, albeit a tad milder than other 24 mg juices I've tasted. This doesn't take away from my enjoyment, really, as I do feel the effects of the nicotine just as well as I do from other 24 mg products.
Vapor production is what I would call midrange, and it's something that I've experienced with all of David's products. This is a subjective thing, as I don't put as much emphasis on the cloud output as others. We all derive enjoyment from this experience in our own way, but I would encourage those who have a tilt towards vapor volume and who haven't yet tried WYS's juices to at least give some samples a chance. To clarify, there IS a decent amount of vapor, but not on a level of, say, Ecopure liquids. For me, it's the flavor and the nicotine satisfaction, and WYS juices deliver. WYS4 is no different, and is highly recommended for RY4 afficianados.
As for service, Matt is prompt with shipping and uses USPS priority with Track & Confirm. If your experience is like mine, you'll have your juice in hand before the Postal Service even updates the website. Usually 3 days from order to receipt can be expected. I can't rate Matt's customer support, but for good reason. I've yet to experience any problems with my orders, so I've never had cause to contact him with issues.
I hope this review is useful, and thanks for taking the time to read!
*Edited. I originally said it was the color of iced tea, but had a brain fart. I was looking at a completely different bottle of juice that was sitting on my desk directly in my line of site to the monitor. Doh! It's what I get for writing reviews while sipping on my fourth Blackened Voodoo Lager.
