I've been thinking about adding one of these to the stable but I've read that several people here have had switch problems. I like the idea of a self-feeder but if I have to fudge with a weak switch or a switch that's prone to juice-up I'll probably pass.

Any owners who have had theirs awhile want to give their opinions?

I've had mine (KR808 model) for a little over a month, and it has been in constant use. I have had no problems with it at all. The paint is wearing off around some of the edges, but it is no big deal, as mine is black anyway. I don't expect it to last forever, but I feel like I've gotten my money's worth already, just in hassle reduction. I would love to see them build a higher-end model with a metal case, etc. I see that extra syringe and tube assemblies are now available to make switching flavors even easier - gonna have to order a couple of those. I have found that newer CoolCarts from V4L have a battery-end hole that is too small - it makes the draw very hard, which is too bad, as I like the way those cartos perform. But regular old cartos and the V4L Premiums work just fine.

A word of caution - do make use of the nice "on-off" switch that is provided. I had not been very diligent about turning it off before putting it in my pocket, and I recently had a "What's that funky smell" moment - I must've been sitting just right and triggered the switch (it seems to be a 5-way switch, so that is not surprising), and it burned the label right off a carto in my pocket. But no damage to the Wetbox itself - a new carto and it was good to go.

I posted this in Vapor Junction's subforum:

As for how the Wetbox holds up; a friend and myself have had some minor issues. My switch is currently down and my friend had the red contact wire come loose (a simple solder fixed it). They are a great device for carto users and overall we like them. I think Dexter summed it up in an earlier post, nothing is flawless.

My advice would be to watch flooding the carto and spray out the switch w/ canned air every now and then.

I've had mine for 3 weeks or so, and only flooded it once. When I say flooded it, I mean it. I got a little aggressive squeezing the bottle and I think it deformed around the top where the cap seals and let some juice out. I noticed the juice on my hand and opened it up to reveal the problem. I dabbed everything dry, made sure the cap was secure, and vaped on with a lesson learned.
Now I just give it a squeeze or two every time I vape and it's all good.
One thing is that it's smaller than you think...those pictures make it look huge, but it's the size of two aa batteries side by side.
Still well worth the bucks for the convenience of vaping and dropping in your breast pocket and not worrying about the battery til the next morning.

I went ahead and ordered a 510 model today. I've got several 2AA box mods now, so the size won't bother me at all. I'm generally not hard on my stuff so hopefully there won't be any problems. *crosses fingers*

Thanks all.

I think you'll like it and it appears that it's a good mate w/ the CE2 cartos you have on the way.
