What’s a good safe batter to use?

I am using the amok alien 220 watt mod and want to buy more batteries in the future. I bought some lg hg 2 batteries that were suppose to be 3000mah compared to the ones that I have which are around 2500mah. My 2500 mah battery seems to hold a charge better than the 3000 mah. Maybe I bought a bad battery or wrong battery for my mod? Can someone tell me a good battery to use for battery life in my mod? Also I am a flavor vapor. Not sure if the battery will affect that.

The lg hg 2 is a good battery, if they are new they just need to be cycled a couple times.

This is Mooch's list of recommended batteries all of which would work in your mod. The best battery would depend on the build you use in your mod and the voltage you are vaping.

It's possible that the LG HG2 that you have is not authentic (a rewrap) therefore accounting for the poorer performance. Always buy your batteries from a trusted and reliable vendor who specializes in batteries. There is a big difference between fake and authentic brand name batteries.

Bench Test Results: Which lasts longer? VTC6, 30Q, or HG2?
In a related thread at BLF, a guy from some chinese wholesale business also spoke about Samsung's “high quality electrical cores” versus others.
Heard comments of high cycle life endurance in VTC5x cells more than once somewhere, too.
The newer high power Vapcell INR18650 2000mAh (Mooch's test) is more than likely a Samsung core.
