I'm using a 510lr 2.0ohm atty from Reo that I ordered with my mod (Grand). I ordered 3 and after a week decided to give the first atty a washing (boiling water, rinsed with isopropyl, blown out and set to dry overnight) because it seemed that I was losing flavor with a very pungeant double infused blueberry from HC-e (healthcabin). The 2nd atty I threw on seems to not be hitting as hard. The first night I got the atty's I blew the primer out of them all (3 total) and am curious if I deadened it a bit by doing that and not using it right away..? I used the first atty and battery for a total of 5 days, swapped batteries and threw on a new atty.

I've tried this new atty with a number of juices, two of which I got from Johnson's Creek (1, 100%PG free) and they have almost zero vapor production. Along with some other Dekang Juices that have extremely low vapor prod also...

I'm at a loss here. I feel like in the last week the vapor production has somewhat dropped more than it should have and I'd like to chalk it up to the atty. It's getting plenty hot, I'm not dry burning as there is no burn taste, my battery is 2 days off the charger (18650, 2400maH) and I usually take 4-5 puffs every 2ish hours..

What am I doing wrong? Are the stock atty's that reo sells on his website just weak? I'm trying to get the most flavor/vapor out of my hits. I don't care for throat hit as much. I've read about a number of atty's and I'm thinking Maybe I need to look into getting an HH.357 longbarrel(my atty now sometimes spit and I hate it), or a cisco spec. Also, will 1.5ohm atty's be alright to run on the 3.7v and what will be the difference in life/taste/vapor?

Sorry for the long post. New to vaping and really trying to get the hang of everything.

I am a baller squonker, and I'm not flooding (at least I don't think)...HELP!

If the atty is getting hot, then the coil is working. A hot atty is most likely a dry atty. Flooding an atty will make it run cool.

You said 100% PG free. That means all VG. If the VG isn't feeding well, you will get this problem. You can prove it by dripping 2 or 3 drops onto the bridge and vaping. If you get good vapor then, it's not feeding juice to the coil and you might have to try a mix or pg/vg.

Is this a standard atty with a fiberfill cartridge? It sounds like a 510 LR 2.0 cartomizer, to me. If it's a standard 510 atty, has the filler backed down inside the cartridge? A 510 LR 2.0 atty (to me) is a standard atty with a fiberfill cartridge. If I were you, I'd try some Boge 2.0 cartos on that 3.7v device. Use the method in the video to fill them the first time to ensure good saturation, then you can drip in a few drops when the filler turns white on top.

Post some specs on what you are using and we will try to help you get it straightened out. Try the dripping suggestion and report back.

Yeah Dave every new juice I try I drip first to prime and make sure I'm not getting a dry hit (because that taste is unforgettable).

I did that with both the johnson's creek stuff, and was getting nothing..like a little flavor but 25% of the vapor I was getting with the HealthCabin juice. When I wasn't getting vapor I thought it was the atty, so I swapped juices and bam, bigger hits, more flavor. So I came to the conclusion that it was the JC juice...I emailed them and let them know my experience and they were shocked to hear my response because they're known for their flavor and vapor production.

If I understand right, the fiber fill you're speaking of is underneath the U shaped metal piece that comes up and has a wick at the end? There seems to be what is a cloth wrap at the bottom, but I can't be sure. This is the atty from REO. So It's not a cartomizer if thats what you're talking about.

There is a local shop in san diego. It might be worth going down there and seeing if they can get crazy vapor out of an atty they have or prove that the vapor is just not going to happen regardless of atty/ecig/battery etc.

I really want to stay away from cartomizers because it seems like having a bottom feeder would be somewhat worthless if I went that route. Maybe it's a learning curve I'm still perfecting...maybe I'm doing something incredibly wrong. So hard to tell without having someone in person showing you, ya know?
