I seem to notice that any time I grab a new atomizer because the one I am using is pissing me off, it works great for about 2 days and then starts not working as well. I know i shouldn't be going through them that fast. I don't throw out the ones that don't work as well but I don't know what to do. The crappy ones just dont work well enough. Any advice would be welcome in regards to reviving the used ones or anything in general

Are you drawing on them too hard? When I first started vaping, I was drawing hard enough to suck start a Harley. The attys got hot enough to split the cart bodies after an hour or so, and vapor was for crap. Since then, Ive learned to take gentle draws.

I did the same as you. Put the bad ones aside. After a few days, I tried the bad ones, and they vaped like champs. Gotta keep em wet too. Don't let em dry out.

a friend of mine has the same prob we could both start out with a new one at the same time and he'll have his dead in a week ...3 weeks later Im still on the same one and he's on the second or third I keep telling him to keep his carts wet but hell suck on that thing till the cart filling is stuck to the atomizer I dont see how he can stand how that tastes

"the nicotine solution also acts as a coolant for the heating coil, so if the second wick is too dry the coil burns hotter than it should, if this happens to often it will become weaker and more fragile and is likely to break.
The best way to prolong the life of the coil is to 1) make sure it is always moist, by giving the wick time to absorb the nicotine solution from the cartridge or the drops. 2) Do not smoke it till it gets dry, when the vapour production gets less, either add more drops or stop smoking. If you start to taste a funny metallic taste when smoking you need to put more nicotine solution onto the atomizer."

I have had exactly the same trouble since I started vaping...I have tried every bit of advice given and as a last resort I have now been trying a method that hadn't seemed like a good idea at all ......and it's working for me...I have nearly reached a whole month with an atty working just as good as new!

I am using a version of the dry burn method of keeping the coil clean of any build up of gunk...every day from brand new, I heat the coil without a cart until I can see it glowing red hot and then stop. unfortunately this can only be done with a manual button type of e-cig. If all other ideas fail you then I recommend you should try this one.

Try boiling water bath - I found the same thing at first but then leaned that they were working just flooded - Look at all the posts about maintaing atomizers - I have had no problems with any of mine after adopting the suggested maintenance procedures - 3 penstyle attys going with nearly nonstop use for 4 weeks now - still working like new

Don't know what to tell you. Have a m401 from midwest and I do nothing to clean my atomizers. Used juice from janty, midwest, and johnson creek. Got 2 atomizers and they still produce like new after 18 days or so. I even put the cart back on from the starter pack and smoke them dry before i try a new liquid. Same with my wifes 401.

Clean your Atomizers with Everclear(pure grain alcohol) found at Liquor stores. IKENMOKE, a reviewer and great vaper turned me on to that process and i have used 1 atty in 40 days and counting:D Just soak it in the alcohol(Everclear) over night take it out(evaporates quickly) and your good to go. Now if the solder on the atty is cracked or something, nothing will help.
