What am I doing wrong?

I started vaping 3 days ago and although I am a little overwhelmed with all the info at times I am also very determined to make this work.
Three days ago I bought a joyetech eGo c twist 650 and used it for a day with a Kanger tech evod and pro mini 2v2 as well as an Aspire bdc.
near the end of the evening the button didn't light up so I thought it needed a charge. Long story short, it still didn't work the next day so I went to a B&M across town and bought another one thinking the first was faulty(the first one I bought online). used it for a day no problem but this morning it didn't work so I charged it but when I press the start button it flashes about 10 times but doesn't work. I unplugged it when the light on the battery was green and the start button was solid white.

If you ran them down to dead it may be they are in safe or locked mode. It's been a while since i used an Joytech type mod but i think if you press the button like 5 times real quick it unlocks them. I know this because I thought i had a bad twist once and that was the problem They should put some damn instructions in the box with them. LOL Beyond this i can't think of any thing off hand. I'm not sure if they have changed the firmware on the newer models. Will see if i can find a link to instructions.
