What am I doing wrong?

I am not new to building coils but also far from expert. I am having a problem building a coil on a Prometheus clone. Every coil I wrap and install reads very low resistance when I meter it, like .12 ohms. Wasn't making any sense to me and I was getting frustrated.
So, built a coil I am very familiar with. 7 wraps of 28g kanthal around a 5/64 drill bit which I calculate at just over 1ohm. Install that build on my kayfun, meters at 1.2ohms.
Now, remove that coil from the Kayfun, install on Prometheus.....meters at .12ohm????

Suggestions anyone?

Do the reading deviate if you push on / try to wiggle the posts?

Readings don't seem affected by manipulating the posts

Think I solved it. Broke the whole thing right down and found a tiny piece of kanthol inside the centre pin, seems to have resolved it
