What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to rebuild an ego one clr with titanium wire. I've followed the instructions yet when I put it on my device it keeps saying either 'Atomizer short' or 'Atomizer Low'. I'm using 0.4mm ti wire as joyetech says is used in the premade head. I've tried doing about 8 or 9 wraps but I cant physically do anymore because it wont fit in the head otherwise. Also I'm a total beginner at building so I dont have the skills yet to do clapton or anything like that.

Make sure the coil is central and not touching any part of the rba head I have clr heads but never built on them

Ive made sure of that, and not getting 'short' anymore, but still having the 'atomizer low' issue. I'm also trying to rebuild my cubis rba, and that says the same thing, and ive managed to get 11 wraps on the coil and still its too low.

What does the ohms read at?

It doesnt read anything. When the tank is connected it reads 0.00ohms and when I press the fire button it gives the too low reading. I'm using an evic vtc mini by the way. I dont have an ohms reader or anything like that.

Not familiar with the vtc mini, but my mod shows the ohms even when it can't fire it. Seems you have a short somewhere.

It's time to get out the volt-ohm meter and find out what's going on. You have a shorted atomizer (provided that it says "no atomizer" when the atty is off).

Go to Harbor Freight or any Lowes or Home Depot and buy a meter if you don't have one. $5 to $15 should get you one with volts and ohms capability. Harbor Freight sometimes gives them away without a purchase.

Do you have access to another device or just an ohm meter? And does this device in question currently fire any other atomizers or rbas that you have? I'm just guessing, but your build itself may be fine

The build seems like it's too low for your mod? Maybe what is the resistance in the VTC?

Sorted the problem! Bit of a facepalm moment, turns out just after giving everything a good clean it all worked fine, must have just been some gunk somewhere causing a connection issue. I've got a coil in now with about 5 wraps and its reading at 0.27ohms, so all good. Thank you all for your replies!
