What are good RDA's with holes in the posts?

I have been really happy using the IGO-L on my Vamo. It took me some time to consistently coil 1.3ohms with ribbon and ekowool. But I still have trouble attaching the wire to the posts. I am looking for something similar with posts with holes in them. Nothing much else, but if I could find a better rda then that sounds even better to me. I have a trident clone stuck in shipping with fasttech. So something around $30 within the States is my price range while I wait for that.

The posts thing is why I haven't tried a microcoil or other builds yet.

I've been doing micro's in my Igo-L for months now with no problem. I've also recently drilled out the posts to attach the wire through them. I used a #61 drill bit to do it. I've found, (and a few others from reading the past few days), you really need to check and make sure the screws in the posts are tight and have the wire fully captured or you will have connection problems and the Ω's will jump around causing a very inconsistent vape... I will take some pics and post them later...

the immortalizer rda has slots that pinch the wire, using a screw to tighten. the slots are ideal for ribbon wire. FT has the atty for a fantastic price and good reviews. if the unit was a tiny bit prettier, id scoop it up in no time.
from my own personal experience, i can recommend the trident clone. it doesnt have holes in the posts per se- it has slots that you lay the legs into, then you place the nut on top and screw down to secure.

If you're set on a single coil, why not just drill holes in the posts of your IGO-L? I bet you could find someone with a drill press to help you if you don't have one.

You should definitely look into getting a mech mod, good batteries, and an atty setup for dual coils. The Vamo will only take you so far with RDAs.

Atty thoughts: The Chimbus is a great option and can be had with many options including thumbscrews for fastening the wires, though it is setup with dual airholes intended for a dual coil setup. Check out the Refined Vapor in Round Rock, Texas for a really nicely setup Chimbus for $30. Its my favorite atty, even over my nimbus, immortalizer and omega which cost 3-4x as much.

Wait for your trident to come in. You'll love having split posts you can lay your wire in, especially if you like dual coils because you can wrap them out of a single wire. It makes it really easy to get both coils even and light up at exactly the same time. When I built my coils separately they almost never light up evenly. Btw, I strongly suggest staying away from the Fasttech immortalizer. Both screws were stripped on mine and I had to return it for a store credit.

Is the top cap on that a pretty solid connection with the O-rings? I like to just pop off the drip tip to drip, as opposed to pulling off the entire cap, and when that top cap/O-ring connection is too loose it can be a bit of a pain in the neck. I like it nice & tight lol

Not sure about the Igo-W. I have an Igo-L and that is how I drip on mine. It is a very snug fit. I think I have read in the rebuildable forum they were the same in comparison.

My igo W top cap-o ring connection is stellar, tight and no leaks unless I REALLY overdrip...way better than either my FT igo L or 'real' igo L.
