The word "Premium" does not exist in e-liquid in the way we normally accept it. The word 'craft' I can live with, maybe. There's no way the brands selling 2,000 bottles a day can pretend to be craft. They would be laughed at.

To judge a liquid on price is never a good idea.
Most of the rip-off brands across the world call their liquid 'premium'. That says it all.
I'm sure "the most authoritative online magazine" would agree. They like to persuade you to buy the premium stuff at a high price so they can enjoy their higher commission.

Huge parts of the e-cig world is as fake as fake can be. It's just a massive web of marketing and people trying to make a quick $... at the expense of fellow vapers.

USA. State: Inebriated.
I never said a word about prices. Also the Pawn never posted test results. Someone else did for them.

In your post, you asserted that a "premium" e-juice does testing and is reliable about the ingredients in their e-liquid, but @Robert Cromwell was making the point that, even though Five Pawns labels/advertises/is referred to as a "premium" e-liquid, they were far from reliable, even outwardly "deceptive" (or ignorant, depending on how you want to view it) about their preparation and ingredients.

You are assuming that that flavoring ingredients are in fact harmful. As of this time there
is zero indication anything in the juice is causing harm.
pick your favorite e-juice. who cares. not one is better than another.

I wouldn't say there's any strict definition of premium other than costing more (even though some premium juices don't). However, most can be contrasted with full line makers, including many house juice lines. The idea there is to cover all flavor areas, for example 10 tobaccos, 5 menthols, and 15 each of candies, desserts, fruits and drinks. The results tend to be uneven, and if there are some special ones lurking in that line one might get turned off before finding them.

The "premium" makers more often deal with complex flavor combinations and have small, specialized lines which don't attempt to cover all bases.

As to knowing exactly what's in the juice, about the only ones are the largest makers that also make their own flavorings such as Hangsen. A lot of premium juices are made by very small companies, barely past DIY except for skill. DIY'ers often claim they know what's in their juice, but actually information tends to be limited with most flavor brands. One can respond to more strictly to what info is available, or lack of info by avoiding some brands, but that's about the only choices short of sending it to a lab.
