I am currently using a vamo v5 as my main vape i also have a zmax style mod and have bought and wating for it to come a sentinal m16 clone. I am looking for a couple of options for high quality mechanical mod clones seeing as i don't have hundreds to spend on the originals. Please help me find some good mods.

Well i just ordered the nemesis clone from ebay, I hear really good things about it and it's apparently a good beginner mod. I spent 40 bucks on it but if you look around you might find it cheaper. I believe its made by HCigars

There seem to be so many clones out there it's confusing. Added to that is the whole ethical thing of intellectual copyright (is 'clone' too polite? In the olden days 'clones' of videos/dvds were 'pirate' copies weren't they?). Anyhoo - there are so many around they seem to have become accepted and acceptable. I've got a couple of Hcigar clones that are pretty good (a copper Caravela and a custom Nemesis) - and they're both very good looking clones that work well.
Infinite Stingray and Panzer clones are both great and hit like beasts while being beauties. Nemesis clones are generally very good quality.

Okay another gem becacuse it is the shortest mod, and pretty awesome, the Astro. I would def consider the Astro as it is less popular, pretty awesome, and really small compared to other mods.

I also have a black chrome Nemesis on the way my buddy has the Stainless clone of it and it hits harder than my 2. Im hearing everyone say the stingray clone is the hardest hitting clone on the market.

Not all clones are created equal. Some, like EHpro and Hcigar focus on making very high quality 1:1 clones, while some other companies make "_____ Style" clones which are often not 1:1 clones but just something that looks similar to the real thing.

Brother has a nemesis and I have a brass m16. both nice but I like the m16 more. Nemesis locking ring sucks as well as the switch (better with magnets) just feels cheap in the switch area. besides that it hammers.
the m16 is a hard hitter and I like the switch on it, only issue is it unscrews over time, I put lock tite on mine but hard you can lock it in with aluminum foil or something

I got the same one off ebay, received it today. I put the HCigar with my Russian and I can tell you it the combo is great. I'm using a 18650 in it and it fits real nicely in my hand.

I have a Nemesis clone that has treated me well for about 2 months now. The button on the Nemesis is its weak point though. Most of the time it works great, but some times it doesn't work smooth and won't fire, I've had to pull over to the side of the road while driving and fix the button... it can piss you off at times.
It seems like most people swap out the spring button with a magnetic version, and have success, I haven't tried magnets yet, so I can't say.

generally i mean ones that will hit hard and wont break in a month or so. Some of them just look cheep and dont work properly. I am hearing the stingray is really awsome i think that is what i will try. thanks
My Hcigar nemesis and ehpro caravela clones have never failed me. Both upgraded with magnetic switches.

Watch out for King clones. The button is like the Nemesis with a spring and can be very annoying at times. I have been using a Magneto mod for the past two weeks and the magnet in the button is pretty legit so far.
K100 was my first clone mod - it's still going strong and built like a tank. I'm not sure it could be described as good looking, but it is a great deal at around $20. Add in you can kick it and use different battery configs, and most RDA's look half decent on it, and it's a winner for me.
I ordered a brass stingray clone for 60 bucks on Ebay, and I must say it truly hits like A BEAST. I'm guessing Infinite manufactured this one but I'm not sure.
Hits hard, looks good, locking ring is butters, and fire button is magnetic. No need to worry about springs getting worn or weak on you.

So far through the research I've found these are the consistently well made clones:
Fixed: King, Chi You, Nemesis, Stingray.
Tele: Launcher, Astro.
I'm sure there are many more and you have to be careful it's the right manufacturer to get a good one (A vs B on FT, check the discussions) but those styles are well liked and reviewed as good performers.
The FT kick at $8 seems like good value too.

Out of curiosity, how many of you with button problems on the Nemesis were using flat top batteries?
