I am working on tobacco extracts. So far everything has tasted really well. They aren't as concentrated as I would "like" but they are usable at 5-10%. I have been using the shot glass method and it works really well. Flavor fully develops after a couple weeks on these but it is well worth the wait. I just make a 3ml bottle every 3-5 days until I see when it evens off. Then I will know how far ahead to make the flavoring before it matures. So far 3 weeks is the apparent stage when the increased flavor from check to check is no longer discernible. My immediate task is to develop my own base to develop branched tobacco flavors.

Awesome, I can't wait to start extracting tobacco flavors!

Hey, I got a sample of that energy drink too! Let us know how that works, I don't drink them and don't know what they are supposed to taste like. The flavor smells yummy.

*eta: My take on Stevo's Vanilla Custard is currently at work with me in the T3, it's not perfect but it's pretty tasty. Guess if I don't use it all up I can let you know what it tastes like after a good long steep!

A day after the sonic bath its not bad at all but it really need some sweetener. I've never tried Energy Drink soda so I think it taste like Grape soda. Once I get sweetener to add I will definetely vape it. I guess at some smaller percentages it will taste even better.

It's the one posted by Vego in the recipe subforum.

I was missing the butter and the eggnog flavors, so I substituted the same amount of marshmallow and cinnamon coffee cake.

I would recommend NOT doing it my way, it's pretty good but not a true representation of his recipe.

I'm waiting on the right flavors to come in the mail and I'll mix up a true batch.

Wow, I just tried the juice I made from the first post with 4 drops of EM after steeping for a bit and holy crap it's delicious. Now I don't know if I should keep trying to tweak it or make like 100ml of it.. I think it's the best juice I've tried after bobas bounty.
I'm so proud of myself, it's my first juice I made on my own and it's absolutely delicious!
I'm gonna try to figure out more precise flavor percentages, and I'd love for someone else to try it and let me know what they think!
It's a little mapley, sort of graham crackery with a hint of brown sugar with nutty/woody undertones and delicious tobacco/RY1 base. Mmmm I wish I had way more than like 6ml of it!

Hey guys, I just was curious to see what liquids you guys are "working on" - maybe we can give suggestions to each other or try them ourselves.

Right now I'm working on a tobacco/maple/brown sugar flavor. I'm still new, so what I did was mixed individual flavors with nic base and then added these flavors to a "final" mix. My brown sugar is still really light, so I will need to add more flavor to that one.

Anyway, right now I'm using:
-40 drops Hangsen RY1 (ECX - 5 drops to 5ml base)
-40 drops Real Cig (VZ - I think 5-6 drops to 5ml base)
-75 drops Maple (LorAnn - 2 drops to 3ml)
-55 drops Brown Sugar (TFA - 2 drops to 5ml base)
-2 tiny drops of AP (TFA - drops from those little plastic pipettes that come with TFA orders)
-1-2 tiny drops of MTS Vape Wizard

I just updated the juice tonight but so far it's tasting really good! I think the Real Cig is still overpowering the juice a bit, but I will try it again after a week to see how it steeped. The Brown Sugar is still really light but I can taste it, it has a slightly sweet hint to it. It's a little woody, slightly nutty.. still not very mapley so I will probably add more of that. Maybe some Graham Cracker. Maybe another tobacco as well? Not sure..

Any suggestions? This is pretty much my first real flavor I'm mixing myself...

One thing I'm wondering about is figuring out real flavor percentages when I get the perfect mixture.. especially because I've been mixing flavors by drops, then drops from THOSE mixes into the final product. Hopefully that won't be too much of a pain in the ....!

For small batches I use drops as well. I took a teaspoon and propped it into a small cup so it would stay level. Then I counted the number of drops it took for me to fill it. There are 5 mls in a teaspoon. I divided that number by 5 to get drops per ml. I consistently came up with 40, but it will depend on which dropper you use. I was using one of the glass droppers that fit the 8ml glass viles from wizard labs. Then I can convert my drops to percentages.. For example 2 drops per 5 ml equals 1%.

To Nova... I stumbled across a grape bubblegum flavor when messing around if you want to check it out
5% watermelon
5% grape
5% blueberry all are tpa flavors, can up the grape to make it even more potent but for my taste it seemed just like grape bubblegum.

On to what I am working on. I am trying to recreate Nice Melons by Fuzion Vapors. I am not there yet but just made a pretty good one

10ml batch (all TPA flavors)
7% cantaloupe
5% watermelon
5% juicy peach( will do 3% next batch)
5% juicyfruit bubblegum(will do 3% next batch)
2% strawberry
3 drops sweet tarts (I want more, 6drops per 10ml next batch)
2 drops koolada(no effect at this level, leaving out next batch)

This turned out to be a nice peachy melon vape at aprox 70/30 vg/pg and 6 nic/ml. When I do version two I will make corrections in parenthesis, but to my palette it is good vape as is.

Chocolate juice: I think this one is tough. I must have at least 17 small test batches steeping for a miracle. I've given up on trying to make small batches of chocolate it is just too difficult to add all the complexity needed. I made my first 100 ml batch of chocolate tonight and it is good. I vaped a whole tank (2.4 ml) before I added nicotine... I couldn't believe how good it was... I guess I was waiting for it to turn to mud.

As complex as it is to make, it is such a simple flavor to vape. I think that is ironic.

Please share! my search for the correct chocolate is in circles.

I don't mind sharing, but it is not a simple recipe that I could convert at this point to a small batch. With that being said here is the mondo size 17 chocolate. This is a cadberry or nestle type milk chocolate flavor...I'll happily vape this 100 ml but I am sure I will continue to tweak the complexity mix in future batches.

Mondo size 17 Chocolate:
30 ml 60 mg PG nicotine
30 ml VG
25.5 ml PG
14.5 ml of flavor as follows

Base Notes:
4% vanilla PG extract ( 4 ml of fluid from a 120 ml batch of PG I steeped with 6 cut up Madagascar vanilla beans-- I added 1 tablespoon of everclear and let it steep 4 days)

4% cocao nib PG extract ( 4 ml of the fluid from a 120 ml jar I filled half full of organic cocoa beans then filled to the top with PG and steeped about 30 minutes)

2% double chocolate clear TFA

Middle or heart notes:
The next three items I feel are best mixed together first so their flavors blend together before you add them to the batch. It doesn't need to sit for long just a few minutes. If you add them separately I find the banana is evident in the final flavor
1% (1 ml) banana cream TPA
.5% cinnamon McCormick
1% sweet cream TPA this one smells and tastes like butter by itself

Now here is a bit of odd complexity...
I used a small glass dropper from wizard labs... I measured it and 40 drops equals 1 ml...knowing that I created 1 ml of complexity with the following recipe:

1% complexity =
4 drops peppermint McCormick
15 drops vanilla pure extract McCormick
5 drops rootbeer McCormick
15 drops imitation maple McCormick
3 drops raspberry TFA
3 drops coconut extra TFA
Now that should have equaled 40 drops, but it doesn't it equals 45, because you can never get it all out of the container you mix it in.. so anyway that is what I did. I did mix this 1 ml of complexity separately and then added it to the mix after the banana cinnamon cream addition

Top note
1% double chocolate dark TFA

It was batch 15 that lead to this and it is a simpler recipe:

Batch 15:
2% double chocolate clear TFA
1% banana cream TFA
.5% cinnamon McCormick
1% sweet cream TFA

( note with this recipe I add 2% chocolate and .5% cream first...then I mix in a separate container the banana cream cinnamon and the other .5% of sweet cream or the banana is a noticeable flavor in the final batch.... I know it sounds odd but the banana, cinnamon and cream become its own flavor which works a bit like cocoa butter in a real chocolate recipe... ironically it is a great flavor and I was testing it as a separate flavor when I accidentally put my chocolate taste test sample in my banana test carto ... happy accident type thing)

If those sound daunting another recipe which is simple and good, but I think lacks the complexity of good chocolate.. still it is a nice vape

2% whipped cream TFA... note this is not the same cream as above
1% double dark chocolate TFA
add 1 drop 10% stavia in PG per ml

( I get my stavia from nuts.com they extract the essence of the leaf and dry it. It comes in a white powder and is pure... it is not just the crushed ground green leaf. They sell it in 2 oz increments... I bought 4 oz which I didn't need. 4 oz of stavia powder has the same volume as 1 pound of coffee beans. So 2 oz is more than enough. This is the same place I buy my cocao nibs and vanilla beans. They have amazing products and excellent customer service)

I think batch 15 is pretty good, but the banana peaks through a little I think... maybe it is just that I know it is there. I had a stranger I met at a vape shop try it the other day and he said wow that is the creamiest chocolate I have ever tried... he didn't seem to notice the banana....however if you drip it the banana is going to come through in batch 15. That was the reason I created a 1% complexity flavor to help disguise the banana without loosing the creaminess it adds. I really think the banana gives that melt on your tongue sensation. Mondo 17 is good dripped with no banana peak through.

sounds like you may be on to something! if you need a volunteer to taste test after you flesh your batch out, let me know. i would love to try it. i'd cover the shipping surely

Thank you I may take you up on that, it is nice to get feedback. I wanted to add another note. When I mix and taste I don't have nicotine in the mix. I calculate how much to add based on the volume that will exist when nicotine is added, but I am actually flavoring everything but the nicotine. This helps me be able to vape as much as I want in tasting without giving me a nic od. When it is good I add the nicotine. Then my yummy chocolate turned bitter. This happens with most of my mixes and a few days steep will return them to about what they were before.

So with this lovely yummy goodness... it is now bitter but it hasn't been 24 hours yet. I am now tasting and tweaking a 10 ml batch. To mellow this first 10ml batch out so I can vape it now while the 90 ml's steep I added two drops of dark chocolate balsamic vinegar... I am sure good old apple cider vinegar would do the same, but hey I'm making chocolate and this is a staple in my salad dressing mixes so I used it. I also added 8 drops stavia (10% stavia in PG fluid)

those little additions to my 10 ml vape it now bottle mellowed it out nicely
