I have some 60mg nic base and some extra bottles coming from WL... they seriously can NOT get here fast enough... I have no spare bottles and all I want to do is make like 60ml (at least!) of this last batch... I keep tasting it and it grows on me more and more! I just don't want to start filling up my Ithaka because I don't want to run out and have to switch juices and coils again before going back to this blend.
I need a good name for this one because I think I will be vaping it for a while!

Subver, I didn't see your last post! Did you get all the percentages worked out to mix it from scratch? Have you tried Scubadatdan's spreadsheet?

And I think it's awesome you've gotten a DIY Success!!! Here's to many more in the future! :toast:

I think I have it down, but still measuring in drops.. I still need to convert that to actual ml's and percents! I'm just waiting to get my bottles in the mail so I can actually make more! All my bottles are filled with flavors!

I've heard of Scuba's spreadsheet, but where/what is it?

Thanks FinallyQuit!

So I just mixed up a fresh 10ml batch of my delicious juice I made. This time I used straight flavor and what I think to be accurate measurements. Still using drops but now I have down percentages and final ml down, so I should be able to dial in to exact ml's.
anyway.. It definitely smells much different! I'm hoping it just needs to steep, my first batch I used pre-steeped flavors in nic base.. So I think the juice was pretty much steeped when it was all mixed.
I'm just hoping I can replicate this juice again! Luckily I did write down every detail so there's no reason I can't! There are 3 tobacco flavors in it so I'm assuming it just needs to steep a while.

Here's one I am working on at the moment...

Butter Pecan Cake
CA Cake Batter - 4.5%
FW Butter Pecan - 3.0%
HS Vanilla - 2.5%
FA Vienna Cream - 1.5%
CA Vanilla Custard - 1.5%
CA Marshmallow - 1.0%
Ethyl Maltol - 1.0%
TFA Caramel Original - 1.0%

This is my third rendition so far.... Awesome after 10 to 14 day steep

Just a quick update: It's been about 4 days since I made my second batch of my delicious juice. It's starting to smell better. I think what I was smelling was the overpowering vinegary smell (probably that with the other flavors) - but it's starting to dissipate. Phew! Hopefully it's perfect, because I just got 60mg nic base from Wizard Labs and I plan on making a big batch of this stuff for an everyday vape.
My other batches are lower than 18mg (my target) because when I first started I stupidly bought 18mg nic thinking the flavors would only be a few drops.. not 20% of my final juice!

I need to start working on something new now, though.. maybe I will keep tweaking this flavor as well.

So glad I got into DIY..

For small batches I use drops as well. I took a teaspoon and propped it into a small cup so it would stay level. Then I counted the number of drops it took for me to fill it. There are 5 mls in a teaspoon. I divided that number by 5 to get drops per ml. I consistently came up with 40, but it will depend on which dropper you use. I was using one of the glass droppers that fit the 8ml glass viles from wizard labs. Then I can convert my drops to percentages.. For example 2 drops per 5 ml equals 1%.

According to eJuice Me UP calculator one drop per 5 ml is 1%.
