Their 4 Star General is actually pretty good stuff if you like RY4.

This Soldier Blend was gawd awful! I think I have finally managed to get the taste out of my system. 1/2 a ml and I was ready to barf!

I honestly can't believe people buy it more than once..

I'm getting used to the fact that I'm not in Las Vegas anymore...

Now trying to focus on that I will eventually be the owner of an ELA.

Took apart my ELA last nigth, cleaned everything with a toothbrush, some Autosol for a little polish where needed, then applied some noalox on all conductive threads.

Result: Back to firing like it should again, gained 0.27 volts from the cleanup, and that's definitely noticeable.

Hey Blix, do you always use Noalox? Its seems to be a toss up whether its needed, It seems to be about 50/50 if it makes a difference or not. What are your thoughts and reasons if I may ask

Actually it's the first time I've used it on my tube mods, usually I use it on my Reos which needs it due to the small contact patch of the positive pin.

I figured it wouldn't hurt.

But I'm goint to order some No-ox-id, which is a conductive grease said to be much better, less gunky and purer.

I never really understood all the hassle women go through with their hair when I didn't have any. Being a long-haired gent for the past few years, and trying to start to taking better care of my man-locks, I totally get it now. Worth it though. Threads only, not the pins.

I applied it to the threads of the bottom switch cap, to the threads of the adjustable center pin and to the threads of the top cap.

No-oxide-Id on my threads only...seems to give me better conductivity on my mods...but that could be just a placebo...will wait and test out once my inline voltmeter comes in.

Your *first* pair? Man, I've been wearing them since 10.
The fishbowl effect should improve within a couple days. But the progressives? Good luck figuring out how to use them effectively. Card playing probably will be a useful learning tool!
