Just finished reading the Night's Dawn trilogy. I was hoping for an epic battle between Quinn and Dariat, but otherwise it was a pretty satisfying read. The crew of the Lady Macbeth reminded me a lot of Serenity. All-in-all, I think the series is really clever and well written, although it'll be quite some time before I'm tempted to re-read it.

I might re-read the Inheritance Cycle next.

I just finished the Night's Dawn Trilogy myself. I agree--satisfying, but just 1-2% of something missing. I was hoping for a Quinn vs. Fletcher myself. :)

Looking for my next fix after I finish The Wool Omnibus (thanks rojo). Richard K Morgan and Iain M. Banks--RIP--have started a Space Opera kick that'll probably end in disaster. Anyone have any recommendations (minus good ole' Heinlein, Asimov, Phillip K. :p, Herbert, and Card)? I'm trying to keep my mind off ELA by staying off planet Earth...

How about a trip to Alagaesia with Christopher Paolini's Eragon series (aka the Inheritance Cycle)? Or if you're more in the mood for a single novel than a series, check out Stardust by Neil Gaiman.

That and the little Ti too. This is also the time of year when people start to think of holidays and all the extra spending on others other than themselves. Its fun for some and depressing for others.
Holidays. You're right. I start thinking of them right at the end of August.

Actually, about ready to settle on a price for my vaping buddy on my Simplicty 18650, Kiklet tube & Spheroid. No Kick. $295. Fair?

That seems fair on both ends. I have to say I am REALLY liking my 18500 + kiklet + kick 2. I didn't think I'd like it as much as the P+, but the overall length of this with the kiklet seem to be right around the length of a P+18650, and of course has the benefit of high wattage and regulation. I'm even more excited for the Ti, now. I think I'll like the 18350 length even better.

Since I scored the Ti I'm selling the 18650 and the 350, and probably quite a few other things. Then, if it all works out I'll replace them with the 500. If I'm lucky I'll come out "ahead".
