How important is the Cake Batter to the recipe or could something else be subbed for that?

The cake batter was actually a last minute addition and certainly could be dropped or swapped with something that adds doughyness. The most important part is the variety of vanillas.

I made this like a week and a half ago or maybe even 2 weeks so it's steeped. It's not my recipe I found it online - unfortunately I can't give credit cuz idk who's it is. Sorry.....

Orange Fudge

Ry4 Double - 10%
Bavarian Cream - 5%
Vanilla Swirl - 3%
Fudge Brownie - 1%
Orange Cream - 1.2%
Creamy Caramel - 1.5%

Looks freakin great right (well to me it does lol)
Ergh no. Thank goodness I only made 5mls which could possibly be the issue due to the amts??

The Fudge Brownie took over EVERYTHING! I might as well have made up a batch of straight fudge brownie. I vaped it don't get me wrong - it wasn't bad - it's actually a good flavor but I was looking forward to this mix lol! So I'm thinking mix it again maybe up all the ingredients a bit except for the Ry4D cuz 10% is good and then use a dropper when adding the fudge brownie. I think I'll make 10mls and go 1 drop per 10ml and see how that goes.

Sound good? I don't have much experience with fudge brownie as I don't like chocolate vapes. Well I guess that's not totally true this one is pretty darn good. Super strong though.

VG is not known for being a good flavor carrier. With a little steeping and shaking the flavor should start to come thru for you. One thing you can try is to mix a smaller batch with more PG and see how the flavor is and then make larger batches with a higher VG ratio for your finished product.

This is a stellar idea. I can attest that this works well! :D -Frustrated that my high VG custard mixes are lacking in flavor, {and wondering if there is something wrong with my Capellas} I made a 10ml test batch of 10% Vanilla Custard V1, 3% TFA Butterscotch and a few drops of TFA sweetener. But this time, I made it 50VG/50PG like I used to. It sat in my hot water thermos overnight and then it sat about 12 more hours. It has significantly more flavor than the other mixes already! :)

So, it's all good! The high VG juice simply take a lot longer to steep, at least for me they do. :p

Those all TFA? I'm out of Ry4D at the moment but I mixed a similar recipe a few months back except no Orange Cream.

Keep us posted if you decide to play around with this some more.

Busy mixing time for me today and yesterday. Mixed up 30 ml bathes of my normal tobacco mixture with Capella's True, Medium, Smooth and Bold flavors and also 30 ml with Hangsen WinChurchill. I upped the tobacco to %12 and used ECX cognac in the mixture. My recipe is always evolving :)
Also mixed up 10 ml of Inawara Arabic and Hangsen Flue Cured essence. On a side note I been experimenting with Tobacco Absolutes. Lots of good info on the ECF thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/654376-tobacco-absolute-flavor-all-itself.html Anyone who hasnt tried Tobacco Absolutes I would recommend checking out that thread. A couple drops to 10ml of tobacco juice really enhances the flavor and makes it even better in my opinion.

Anyone have any good tangerine recipes they would be willing to share?

You are correct sir. High vg juices are just as flavorful as pg, it just takes longer for the flavors to meld together and come out.

Hoosier posted a nice easy one 15% Sweet Tangerine (Cap) that's it and it's good.:)

Another busy day of mixing. This Tuesday I gotta go back into the hospital so want to be caught up with my juice making before getting operated on again.

I tried Hoosiers recommendation of %15 and mixed up a batch of Caps Tangerine, Caps Mango and Caps Honeydew Mellon. The tangerine taste good. Next I played around with the RWhy4. At first it was real yummy but then after vaping it a few days it seemed too sweet. Remixed the batch with using Caramel instead of Caramel candy and added 3 drops of Inawara Virgina Tobacco Absolute. For my own preferances I find the flavor to be bolder and enjoyable and more to my liking. Thinking of renaming it RWhy4? for my own purposes.
Now to get busy on three days worth of mixing notes in my journal and clean up my mixing stuff.

I haven't tried virginia TA, but I do like Hangsen Virgina in my version of a RY4. I'm still tweaking it, and it's one of those that takes forever to steep so progress is slow. Last batch I added one drop of TA from ECX to a 30ml bottle. Where do you get the Virginia TA from? It could well be my missing link

Today I made

Raisin Rum Tobacco

VZ SC (alcohol line) French Pipe 2%
Rustica TA 1%
VZ SC (alcohol base) Raisin Rum 3%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 2%
Hangsen Italian Cream 1%

Nice deep and complex flavors here. I made 8 ml and I'm going to do my best to put 5ml away for a steep.

Anyone else tried the VZ Raisin Rum and do you have any recipes?

Tonight was an excersize in efficiency. Im on a quest for a collection of the ultimate tobacco vape for my taste. This week I mixed up around 400 ml of tobacco ejuices. On my rack steeping is 15 15ml sample bottles of various tobacco flavors as well as 6 30 ml known liked flavors recipes steeping. After running across the RWhy4 recipe and modifying it for my preference (substituted caramel for caramel candy so its not too sweet) I believe I have a good tobacco experimenting base now. Simple and easy. Doing all this mixing resulted in many trips between my mixing station to the kitchen sink to rinse things out before the next batch. I was looking thru my tobacco concentrate bin drawer and there is a lot of flavors that I dont have a profile on yet. Also was shopping for some RY4D and Turkish tonight and there is many flavors I want to try. To add to that my delving into tobacco absolutes with my mixtures, I am looking at a ton of mixing.
Here is where my excersize in efficiency comes into play. I plugged in the info into Ecig Express online calculator (highly recommend this calculator) for 120 ml of my version of a tobacco base, 6mg nic, 50/50 ratio, 10% tobacco, 5% Caramel, 5% Bavarian Cream then let it calculate the recipe and mixed up the batch minus the tobacco. Now when I want to make a sample all I have to do is measure out 4.5 ml of my base, add .5ml of tobacco flavor and im done. A little water that I am going to keep at my mixing station to rinse out my 10ml cylinder between batches and im ready for the next one.
If anyone has any mixing efficiency tips, please share them.

Making my first attempt at a banana custard. I am at 10% CAP vanilla custard V1, 6% FA banana and 2% TFA graham cracker clear. Needs steeping. So far hardly any flavor. Any wisdom here would be appreciated. :)

OMG- I just tried this mix today after sitting for a week and a half and the flavor is coming through, in a great way! I can definitely taste all the components clearly. It is SO tasty. I usually only vape tobacco flavors so this is a refreshing change of vape for me. I bet it will be even better in a couple weeks. Seems all of my "speed-steeping" hocus-pocus does not work for high VG mixes. Oh well, I will wait for something this good. I will make a big batch of this and maybe bump up the graham cracker a bit. Then I will put it away for a month. Something to look forward to! :p Thanks for the help!
