Smokers who have stopped and think that I'm the anti-Christ for vaping. How soon they forget that when they smoked they heard the same stuff. Sometimes this can get personal.

Being around a cigarette smoker that says he looked in to vaporizers and exclaims, those have a lot of bad **** in there. Puff, puff, puff.

Merchants selling a mod and say use these batteries or you void your warranty. It's never mentioned anywhere that they are unprotected. This could be a crusade for me because it's irresponsible and dangerous IMO.

Proudly showing my therapist my vape and saying I'm off cigs. Usually enthusiastic when I make positive changes had a totally blank look on his face.

-Atomizers that taste of anything except my E-liquid of choice. Has "primer fluid" been debunked as an excuse for that taste, or is it just industrial grease? I would gladly pay extra for pre-cleaned atomizers that are usable immediately.

I totally agree with you on this one! I just returned to "inhaling vapor" (appeasing those who detest the vaping verb) after two years away, but I do not remember tasting machining oil this strongly in the past. Maybe it is because I had quit smoking three months before returning and my taste buds are more sensitive. I have begun cleaning out new clearos and tanks with grain alcohol before the first use and that helps some, but not entirely.

That brings me to another question that's been running around in my mind since returning -- what is steeping really all about? I understand that letting a recipe blend for a few days could definitely improve it, but I find that more than anything that, steeping (for a day with the bottle open) allows that awful leeched plastic-bottle taste and smell to dissipate.

I have juice (nicquid) from several vendors and most of it is very good after steeping and using a broken-in clearo/carto/tank.

Took me a while to find it. I absolutely agree that taste is subjective, but I think if you can find people with a similar taste profile you will at least get an idea of whether you might enjoy the juice or not. I have noticed reviewers (myself included) taking more than one shot in this thread...maybe i will just stay out of here ;)

Well, that is the whole reason for the channel is reviews of juice and hardware, so I am not sure what you expect, I am not going to put videos of my cat chasing its tail on there ;) Sure I get a bunch of free juice, but believe it or not, I don't do it for "free stuff" I enjoy doing the reviews and lots of other folks enjoy watching them, I certainly enjoy watching others reviews, and most of the juice i get I give away to the folks I work with or folks that are starting out and need some options. As far as pissing people off with the emails that are sent out, just click the unsubscribe button, I will not be offended :) I am not trying to make anyone mad, I am just trying to inform and entertain. Not trying to come off as an a** here but I don't have the thickest skin in the world, just a thick skull sometimes :D

No man don't take it the wrong way. I was disappointed at the time. I was just learning about the juice subjective subject. Some vendor sent me what he said was his all day to try and it was very nasty IMO and in my dads opinion as well. The taste from hell. Stuck to my Atty and would not go away no matter how much diff juice I dripped in that dam thing. Thats where the frustration started. I support your channel by leaving comments and likes. Your last review went something like this "Dam bro I cant believe someone gave you the thumbs down. It was a good review and I added another like for ya" One thing on my end also is that if I watched all the videos I get in boxed I would never get off the chair.

Vape Pet Hate: Wait all you did for me was sub. I support so many channels on YT with comments and likes. Yet I find it a rarity that someone will do the same. I tie up my internet to Up load a video thats 3 minutes and cant even use the phone for the 7 hours that 3 minutes takes to upload in order to try and help people. My home phone is magic jack, and cell phones do not come in at my house. I dont make a dime. I dont get free sht to review. Only free stuff I have got is on ECF. I like helping people I have things on my channel from shooting guns, fixing your appliances, saving money, to even playing with my kids. Its a rounded offering but non the less a ghost town for the most part.

But no need to get .... hurt. I will keep uploading video and you will too. Its our own personal space. If others dont like it then who gives a crap. By the way, I stand behind the free fix for the admiral clothes dryer. Its been months since I fixed that and made the tutorial on it. Its still working like new, and not one comment on any of the videos for that. I bet a thousand people called the service man for the same issue since I posted them video's. Oh well.

You know I have to do it after all this. Look me up. Travos69

You know what one of my pet hates is? These crazy overpriced vaping "mods" that people seem to wear like badges, "I paid $268 for my ProVari, so it must be the best thing in the world." All these fancy "mods"-- wait, I hate the way the word "mod" is thrown around for these mass produced big battery holders. Yes, that's what they are...battery holders, with a switch that puts out power that powers a heating coil coated in liquid, that creates a vapor. A "mod" is something that is crafted into something different than it's original purpose to serve another purpose. Like the Altoids mods. Or the old school "flashlight" battery mods of old.

Back to the fancy mods... They're just power supplies, people!! Some have variations that you can't even detect without an electrical engineering degree and a fancy oscilloscope. People bash one battery operated power supply over another. They get into arguments over which one is "better". And for what? Bragging rights? Heh, I bet the sellers of these devices love the debates, and arguments though. Negative publicity is just as effective in piquing interest as positive publicity. And hype hype hype!

Whatever keeps you off the nasty cancer sticks, is the best. I have been vaping (and there's nothing wrong with that term, imo) for over 3 years now, and I've tried so many different devices, batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, tanks, atomizers, liquids, etc etc over the years, and I really don't care much about what device may have the coolest looking wave on an oscilloscope... I just don't want to go back to smoking.

In the past 3 years, vaping has gotten so complex, it's ridiculous. It's become more akin to car modding and an enthusiast hobby than something to save lives. I've seen so many newbies coming here after seeing some fancy "mod" video review on YouTube, and buying a ProVari but not even understanding the basics, it just makes me want to rage and cry at the same time. It's so overwhelming to someone new, I imagine the "scene" has turned away lots of potential vapers, just because it's just too much conflicting information to sort through. And the fanboys/fangirls arguing over which device is the best, can't help either.

You can get a Chrome Provari with Blue LED for $155 shipped. They are the blemished ones. I pulled the trigger two days ago & I stand behind the Provari. Sure it would be nice if the price was lower. But its one of them things you will never know till you get one. I pulled the trigger on my first one many months ago. My only regret was that I sold the first one to buy a Zenesis. The Zenesis didnt last very long. In fact the guy I sold the Z to also sold it to someone else, and they also posted it in the classys just the other day. It was number 69 and the price was $500. Still have yet to see the guy I sold the Provari to reselling it.

Provari….But its one of them things you will never know till you get one.

I really hate that statement. I'm glad you like it, but I hate posting contrary views in Provari threads to give more information and constantly hearing that there's something so special about it that you can't possibly understand until you own one. I get that you spent a lot of money on it and want to justify the purchase, but there are legitimate reasons to not like the thing.

Well hey lets turn this into a healthy debate if you want. Ive owned about 8 pv's in less then a year. Only 2 of them where the one you choose to hate for some reason. So whats your reason not to like it then? I will start on what I dont like. I spent $155 and cant afford to buy a battery. Hate that its going to get here before next pay day. I also hate that the ext caps cost money. They should be free cause im broke and have 18650's. Speaking of 18650's. When I bought them and the Pila charger it cost $80. Thats way to high IMO. I also hate that to adjust voltage you have to jam on the same button for what seems to be a million times then wait 5 seconds to vape. Thats really all I can think of from my exp.

If my dryer ever breaks I will be hitting you up ;) I just watched you vaping on a stone tank, I think you were liking it too much :D Lots of good tutorial videos on your channel.

@Striker, I don't want to get into it here, but all of those are valid reasons to not like the Provari. And this is kind of what I'm talking about……people know there are things about it that aren't perfect and that might be inexcusable for some potential buyers, yet they vehemently defend it as the best for everyone. I don't get it. And I don't think that owning something I know I'd be unhappy with would change that.

Thats what you where saying. It only gets to me when the only vote is that one looney little thumbs down most often given by the person that has none posted. Its so not fair  Thanks for the Sub. by the way.

K so back on topic. I hate how my genesis tank makes me mix up so much juice. I mean dang. Cant this Atty come with a warning or something? Might go something like this. Warning: You will buy mesh, you will buy wire. You will buy juice by the gallon, and you will get heartburn. You will get throat hit, and your vision will be impaired. Please enter at your own risk, and bring a car battery!!!

Everyone thinking their PV and/or preferences for juice cartos/clearos/etc. is the ONLY thing anyone else should vape.

I have a Zenesis ... I love it. It's fabulous when I'm sitting at home and chain vaping. It's also the wrong PV to shove in a pocket and go hiking with. For that I use Smokeless Image Volt X2s with XL cartos. I slap a carto condom on the top and I'm ready to go. For bars, I have my little 78mms. Yes, I'll take 4 of those instead of one larger PV... why? I like to be completely stealth if I have to when I'm out.

People that recommend whatever THEY vape to some newbie that comes in saying they just used the Blu, smoke 5-6 cigarettes a day, and just want something cig sized that vapes better. These people do NOT need a Provari, GGtS, Zenesis, or Ego twist with a vivi nova, but rebuild that with some special USA made mesh # 325, and make sure you mod your yada yada yada yada yada.

Actually, make that people that don't read the post before they respond in general.

LMMFAO...... yeah, that definitely should have been in my Zen box. Also.... You will start to resent the taste of carto filler, silica wicks, and plastic in other devices.

lol - I have several uhhh... "gruntmaster 3000 clearomizers" (if the rest of you don't get it, you have to read the post) and they have different levels of nicotine, a couple of which are 36 mgs. . So the good ol' 36-er is my "vape in case of emergency" when something makes my blood boil

Lol! That's hysterical!
P.S. I always suspected that I had boiling blood (could be related to my dragon ancestors) but now I am SURE, since I ALWAYS vape 36- er.

(P.S. ....not sure what the '-er' stands' for, but pretty cool, so I'm stealing it :D).

I know, I feel really bad as well when people get advice pushing them toward something they aren't ready for. There are some really good, simple, basic mods that people should start with before deciding what they want from their PV, should they upgrade.

See, I don't like having mods and what have you shoved at me because, to put it blatantly, I have not got the slightest clue what you are talking about. I am the oldest 32 year old you will ever meet. It's like handing grandpa an iPhone with no instructions and asking him to text you. I'm sort of like that (and yeah, I don't text, either). I'm five months in and still can't tell you what all I can buy online for my eGo to save money rather than buying it for double from the local vendor, simply because I have no idea what all that crap to match it to batteries are all about. I am on a strict budget, so I can't afford to buy the wrong thing and have some useless carto or what not. It's frustrating for me because I go back and forth from being really happy with my set up to not being happy at all. And I never know what to ask because I know, for sure, that I'll get all this technical lingo shoved at me and have it finished off with "get a ProVari." I can't afford one, so that doesn't help me.

My personal experience is ALL I can recomment on. I never had a twist, so I can't recommend or talk someone out of one. I've spent more than I needed to get through six or seven weeks. I also can give someone advice on my initial kit that really could carry someone longer than I have vaped. I own things I would NOT suggest to a n00b, even though it is the popular thing to suggest...

There is no reason for me to think anyone sane would follow the exact path I did

Just to .... in here, texting on an iphone is Waaaaayy easier than on a non iPhone/touchscreen phone :p I gave my dad a samsung Gravity to text with and you have to press and navigate through at least 5 button presses to start sending texts, the iphone is one or two screen touches......just had to say that lol

That's not unique to an iPhone, I can text from the home screen on my Droid. It's all about app and widget placement.

As for vaping pet hates, why are eGo charger cords so damned short? If I plug it into the wall, the batt is dangling from the cord and if I use my PC, it's on the floor. Kitchen counter outlet would work, but that's not handy either.

I agree about the cord length. Now this isn't the most elegant solution, but here's what I've got going. It's immediately to the right of my living room chair so I can reach everything with ease. That's a 650 Twist for any size comparison. I just flip the switch on the power strip when I leave or goto bed and done, no unattended charging.

A neighbor asked me the other day, 'couldnt you put a couple of drops of (MODERATED) in one of those tanks?

i honestly, dont do (MODERATED), but i thought it was a good question, oddly enough...

I think I'm the only one here who hasn't been accused of using drugs! LOL! Yet... guess I should include that.
