Great post about the vivi nova John. I am using them as well since Bogegate and I am very pleased.

Another new pet peeve: starting tons of new threads just for attention.
If they have a good, strict Freudian on the payroll, I should be cured in about 50 years, max.
Freud was a quack.
You can find drive through shops in Wichita Falls, TX. They do place the drinks in a heavy duty plastic bag and staple it shut. Technically, you're not driving with an open container until you remove the staples.New Orleans. Where else would you find such a thing?![]()

My pet peeve? I have 4 Vivi Novas in rotation. I clean/dry burn three of them at a time and reassemble everything. A day or two later, pick one of them up, load with juice, and it won't vape! Aargh!!! The thing was working just fine when I dry burned it. Why does it wait until AFTER I've loaded it with juice to stop working?
Afterthought: It might be evil, twisted gremlins at work - we're up to our asses in them in my neck of the woods.
I'm pretty sure it's poltergeists.
Seriously, it's never anything difficult to fix. Usually the coil has loosened a little from the post. The peeve is that I can't tighten it without taking everything apart, and I've already filled it with juice! It was plenty tight when I dry burned it. Poltergiests are the only rational excuse I can come up with for it being loose in the first place.
medical folks who want to send you to quit smoking classes because you have an occasional cigarette and personal morality dictates you tell the truth. about that.
x-smokers who become fanatics to stamp out smoking. (I don't do it anymore and I don't want you to either)
vapers who become fanatics to stamp out smoking. (same thing I guess)
Nanny State mentality/ideology of ANY kind.
Fellow vapers that tell me I need to vape at 4 megawatts!
I may be in the minority but I am perfectly satisfied by the clouds of vapor I get from a humble eGo or mechanical bottom feeder with a 1.8 ohm attie.
Yes, I know, 6 volts with a 0.02 ohm coil will give more vapor!
I guess one of my pet hates is what prices many vendors sell juice for. The pharma grade nic and pg/vg is dirt cheap as are the flavor concentrates. I guess it is still much cheaper than cigs, but if most only knew how much the juice mixer paid for the ingredients (which is probably even less than I do) they would throw a rage fit.
Shot thru cyberspace with my iGun.
I'd just like to gently "push back" on that a little bit ........
It does seem to me that there are a fair amount of "free market" forces at work in the admittedly still-relatively-young joooose market that at least kinda tend to keep most vendors from charging whatever they feel like for joooose, and that it's gotta be at least a minor pain in the ... to perform all of the steps involved in getting x amount of joooose out the door, and into the hands of Joe or Josephine Vaper, and that if anyone could "clean up" by charging significantly less that $15 - 25 an ounce for "the good stuff", that they'd probably be doing it. That said, it does remain a possiblity that prices are "artificially" high right now because the industry is relatively young, and that prices will indeed be coming down in the future as the whole thing "shakes out", and vaping is far more widely engaged in than it is at the present time.
It's interesting to me that I still get gawks and stares and "what the hell is that"s regarding the Twist/Nova that lives around my neck on a lanyard, which says loud and clear to me that this whole deal has a LONG way to go, and that there's a pretty good chance that with increased volume, and probably far more vendors, will come generally lower prices; but in the meantime, my hat is off to anyone who can "command" and get $20+ an ounce for some of the "boutique" joooses out there from places like High Brow, Nite Lite, and others.
To me, one of the best bargains in the "vaposphere" remains Tasty Vapor, where you can get a 4 oz. "Doubler" of zero-nic flavored joose for $16.25, and a 1 oz. bottle of 48 mg joose of the same flavor for $15.50 (same price, regardless of nic strength (?!)), and end up with 5 oz. of approximately 10 mg joose for about $6.35 an ounce. Add in the "fact" that I think Geoff's Blend is practically "to die for", and their Kretek Clove is really, really good, along with almost everything else (YMMV, of course), and that they are great people to deal with (I've talked with Chris a bunch of times, and if you ask him, he'll make special stuff for you, like the "Leftist Latte" he makes from fresh-ground beans that he gets from Gimme Coffee in New York (NYC and "Upstate" NY)), and that their shipments go out like clockwork, with top-notch communication every step of the way (order received, order being mixed, order shipped) .... and they get five stars, "two Twists up", a "strong buy signal", and raves from me. Give them a try; I think you'll be as pleased as I am. (And no, there's nothing in this for me, except the sheer enjoyment of giving praise when and where it is so richly deserved).

Fellow vapers that tell me I need to vape at 4 megawatts!
from my experience, as long as you hit exactly 88 mph at the precise moment your coil is energized by lightning striking the clock tower , thereby generating the 4 (4 to 4.2 will get the job done) megawatts...... Your vape will be stellar!![]()
