I have a few of the ultrafire 16340 protected LiCo protecteds, also have 4 AW IMR 16340 LiMn batteries as well as some tenergy 16340 LiFePO4 to boot. Out of all of those batteries I like the LiMn chemistry the best as it has an 8c rating and has a quicker bounce-back time. The trade off however is a decreased battery life on the high drains as they are only rated a 550MaH, where as the LiCo is rated around 880MaH, but truly tested at 650Mah fresh charged. The difference in numbers may not seem all that big but in my "real world" test the LiCo's last about 6-8 hours where the LiMn's last only about 4-5 hours (but its a consistent 4-5 hours of vaping.) The LiFePO4 batteries are only rated at 3.0v and have 500MaH and just plain suck because they need their own special charger, and peter out in about 3 hours of moderate vaping, so I will not recommend those.

In summation: There will be a slight trade off from battery life to performance. My preference and this is subjective is the high drain LiMn chemistry, they just seem to be more consistent. my 2¢

The only difference I could tell was the highdrains didn't last as long. My vaping experience was the same with both. Oh and the highdrains fit loose in the Buzz. The ratings are nice but don't make my vaping any better. LOL I was really disappointed in them pay more to charge sooner. One of my mods has tight fitting battery space so they come in handy there.

Maybe I just seem to notice that the high drains have that "fresh off the charger" constantly feeling. And yes the high drains don't last too long, but the trade off in battery life, at least in my opinion is well worth it... my 2¢

On a side note, I do use both battery chemistries. I use the regular LiCo protecteds when I'm working the overnite as I will be there for over 18 hrs, at home is the high drain LiMn due to the "charge deficiency" I will be the first to admit that they do peter out crazy quick fast...

I like the high drain better too. I like how they recover quicker than Li-Ions.
