I tried Blue Cig and it sucked after about 3 hits I needed to put it down for about 30 minutes befor I could get another good hit (Im a realy heavy smoker) I am curently using Safe Cig, good vapor (most of the time) but Im finding the cartriges are inconsistent some work just fine and others nothing. I like a good strong vapor with every hit any sugestions?

Heavy smoker? You will NOT find an e-cig or e-liquid that tastes like tobacco (just managing your expectations here) but you can find excellent devices that you'll enjoy. With regard to e-liquid - that's up to your own taste. But my advice would be not to look for flavours that are like tobacco. Why? Because they don't taste like tobacco! Try some new, different taste (I'm waiting for Irish Stout) - but they already have Roast Chicken(Beware - do not mix with glycerine - a very nasty sweet/savoury experience I once had...but to move on..). Try an Ego and see how it goes. It's a practical device - but it doesn't look like a cig. If you want something that does, then get an Evo. Imho.

I think i'm comfy thinking about my e-cig more like a hookah than a cig. I never really liked the taste of analogs to begin with. Well...except for cloves.

It depends on which device you choose. IMHO the Stick, Ego and Mako are more like hookah pipes - masses of vapour and great taste. If you want something that looks and hits like a cig then try the Intellicig Evo. It will never taste like a cig - but there are LOTS of other flavours to try. Tiramisu, anyone?

Asking which brand is really the wrong question.

A more accurate question is which model.
The 510 comes in many brands, but they are all 510 models.
And in the end it doesn't make a difference which one you get.

The basic models are 510, 901, 801, 401, KR808D-1, 302, RN4081, etc.
There are many, many basic models.

And really, the model just means which atomizer/cartomizer are you using.

But it gets even more complicated than that.
Because there are different kinds of 510 atomizers now, for instance.

So really, it is simply a question of which kind of threading does you device use.
My device is threaded for 510 atomizers and cartomizers.

Hope that helps, and didn't essplode your head.
But at least now you understand why you may feel so confused.

Currently using a LR510 atty on an eGo. I've tried a few others 901, 810 but my current setup seems about right. Also mix my own and have enough juice for 2 years of constant vaping so I'm a happy camper.

If you want the absolute strongest tasting vape - mix 1part 100mg non-flavored juice to 3parts of your favorite flavoring. Add VG for more vapor.

It is all a bit confusing. One of the most denigrated atomisers in the past was the dse-103. This was because the batteries that came with them were awful. I now understand that modders love this atomiser because it is robust. See how the world turns?

The only pv that will work for you is the one that you like. Read around a bit (and take advice from any newbies with a pinch of salt - they're either fanboys or just justifying their purchase as a rule.) :):):)

My favorite brands, Volcano e-cigs, Vaporkings, and Cignot. Favorite, Volcano L88B, Magma/510, DSE 801.

As far as favorite overall, well, all of them. Depends on the situation and my mood. If you're looking at this for advice on what to purchase, it usually doesn't cost much to get a battery, attomizer, charger, and a pack of cartridges of a type just to try. After you've tried a couple different types, then pick your favorite one or two and get extra parts.

I started with a 510. I have a kr808d-1 with pcc that I've never opened and about 10 differnt mods but about the only device I use anymore is the Buzz from notcig with adjustable voltage. It is sweet. :):):)

Never tried it - though I do 5v on the Mako Maksi. Have you tried that yet?
