I gotta agree with Stevegmu, go for the eGo One. Not really much that can touch it's performance for the price, and it comes as an all inclusive kit so you don't need to purchase batteries, charger, etc. The vape from the Nautilus will seem puny by comparison.
I just purchased the eGo One starter kit..$45 on VapeNW..I cannot wait to try it
There are like a thousand ways to do a Mech or regulated mod with batteries, charger and tank for less than $50. AT Fastech.
Just don't expect the best quality or fastest delivery. What you will end-up with is a serviceable vape, That will teach you what you really need to have. I would also stay ABOVE 1ohm, this also saves money. Mainly because you don't have to have high power devices to run above 1ohm correctly, (20watts or more).

When I started, I thought about the "saving money" potential. But, then I started reading and thought that I can get something cheap, but that I wouldn't appreciate it. So, since I spent $170 a month on cigs, I would spend that to get started. I got two APVs, four tanks, and a bunch of coils. Oh, juice, too.

Surprised no one has stated the obvious: go buy an iStick 50. No need to spend extra on batteries or chargers since the batteries are built in and charged with a micro usb cable.
There's no need to use a dangerous mech mod that can fire in your pocket and blow your .... off. I'm not sure why anyone prefers using a mech mod in 2015. They are obsolete as far as I am concerned (regulated VW mods can fire down to 0.2 now and go to 150+ watts). Back in the day, a mech was the only way you could sub-ohm and push high watts. Today, not so much. I guess some people just like to live in the past. Moreover, I think it's irresponsible for anyone to suggest a mech mod to anyone who has never used anything but an ego.

Don't know how you stand it. I use a 1.3 ohm in my Kayfun and cannot go higher than 15 watts without it being too hot or burnt. If I want to push 20+ watts I need a sub-ohm build. If I used a 2.8 ohm build, I would probably not be able to stand much more than 8 watts. Of course, it does depend on the atomizer and airflow, but even with a wide open dripper, I can't imagine vaping 2.8 ohms at 70 watts.
I've discovered in my vape journey that volts are more important than watts when talking about flavor/vapor. I like to vape around 4 volts (maybe a little more or less). 4 volts on my 0.5 builds comes out to 32 watts, which seems about right. I can keep my voltage on 4 no matter what build I put in and it will taste about right. However, I can't keep my wattage at 30 on any build without burning the .... out of some of them.
Stop acting like mechs are time bomb waiting to go off. In the rare instance they do it is user neglect. Putting a 5amp true fire in a regulated box can F up to. Regulated mods can fire in your pocket and burn you if you dont lock it, same as a mech. Mechs are just as safe as regulated mods aslong as you keep within your batteries limits. No matter what lock your mod before you put it in your pocket, simple.
Just stop with this BS and trying to scare people from them.
Big Ego it is suprisingly smooth and not an especially warm vape. I dont run it at 70w all day, but higher then 50 all day. Im using it on a Big Dripper and it has exceptionally large air slots especially compared to a Kayfun(from what ive heard never used 1). its all subjective, but for somebody who doesnt like hot vape should somewhat say its smooth.
istick 30/50w (or cloupor mini but would need 2 x 18650s) plus a subtank nano (mini if you want to build some on the rba deck). Pack of premade coils (0.5 and/or 1.2 ohm)..good to go!
whoops. Cloupor mini only takes one 18650 of course but good to have a spare (and a good charger!)
This from a hard core Reonaught. Spend your money on quality if you plan to be a life long vaper. It will cost less in the long run.
Some folks beat up on the users of mech mods. Sometimes (often) it is these same folks that do not or can not take the time to learn a little about them and the batteries they use.
True, mech mods can be dangerous. This due to a lack of battery safety. In every instance of the stories I have read, mech mod malfunction to a point that could harm was caused by operator error. Take the time to learn a little about this type of vaping. If you never rode a motorcycle, would you jump on one and feel comfortable riding off in the sunset? I think not!

I have several collecting dust either from malfunction or due to the fact that I am a dripper and these devices are a hassle to use while doing certain activities. Battery safety can still be an issue when choosing devices with multiple batteries. For those devices that have a permanent battery, some knowledge of charging might prolong the battery life though I think most will not take the time to learn these things.
As a full time flavor chaser and dripper, the not so obvious choice is a Reo. It is a bottom fed device that allows for the best of dripping without the hassle of actually dripping. A true mech mod that is about as bullet proof as can be. I can be rough on my mods due to the activities I enjoy and the Reo has stood the test of the short time I have used them. Can not say that about the VV/VW devices I have. If I would have found and tried a Reo when I first found dripping, there would have been the potential to save thousands of dollars.

I vote for the Eleaf iStick 50W (about $45). You can decide on the RBA you need later.
