I checked out the Provari. It looks sweet, but that's quite a price tag.
Before I drop the cash. I want to make sure that there is nothing else I need to research.

Are there any other VV or VW mods available that are both made in the USA and have at least a 6 month warranty?

I won't spend more than $20 on anything without a warranty. I've thrown more e-cig equipment in the garbage than I care to think about.

Sorry not that I was able to find & I struggled for weeks to make a decision. Most of the warranties I saw were like 14-30 days when I was researching. I'm not saying its for everyone & I own a couple of other mods & pv's but you can see what I choose in the end by looking at my banner. I'm very pleased & don't regret it one bit!

Wow .. If you find a american made mod for a china mod price WITH warranty , please let me know . But then again you get what you pay for . I do not own a Provari nor do I see one in my future as I find I like mech mods better . But the provari is a solid and dependable device . I feel the difference between a china mod and an american one are many . The china one is produced cheaper in many ways as there is less regulation and the wages are lower , quality of materials would fall in the less regulation group . American made = higher wages , tighter regulation , but can equal a better built mod . A better build mod = more warranty . Take Super T ~ PrecisePlus Units they put out a lifetime warranty on their mods .And lets not forget provari's warranty as well... but it does come at a price . So moral of the story is ... you get what you pay for . Ah but what do I know .....

There are no "easily accessable" variable voltage mods Made in the USA other than the Provari. You can place your order for one and get it shipped to your door in 3-4 days time. There are also slightly blemished, brand new Provari's in the clearance section at Provape starting at $140 Clearance

The Provari is 99% USA parts and labor. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/289525-provari-made-usa.html

Make a list of the most important qualities that you are looking for in a mod. If dependability, quality of build, superior electronics, durability, consistancy, and customer service rate high on the list, then the Provari is your answer.

You pay more for a Provari for reasons that HunterSeeker said. Having the security of knowing that you have a full 1 year warranty (option to buy an additional year for $25) and that Provape will continue to service it even after the warranty expires is worth its additional cost in my mind. A Provari is the only logical choice for the long term.

Your only option other than a Provari is to buy a mechanical mod from some manufacturer like Super T's Precise (lifetime warranty) and Kick it, or buy one of the Chinese mods which have a shorter warranty and then is a disposable should it fail after the warranty. China manufacturers do not do repairs.

If you can find a better variable voltage PV than the Provari, then buy it. Buy once, cry once. Regret it- never.

im with everyone else, for service and dependability you cant beat the proV, i drop my work one all the time knocking it over. dropped it and it chipped the tile. broke two glass tanks now, hitting the floor - still no scratches and vapes like new.

besides that like said a mech, theres not much to break inside. USA made or not.

You said it all in your last line. If you plan on vaping for the next year or so, add up the $ you've trashed in the past year. I bet you could of paid for that new Provari I see in your future.

Close, but if you are stuck on that six month warranty then - no.

The Varicool VV box mods at Smoktek are USA made and come with a 60 day warranty. If you don't have 14500 batteries and a charger a complete setup with 2 sets of batteries will set you back about 80 bucks. If you are gonna find a problem with a Varicool it's gonna pop up a lot sooner than in 60 days. I've had my first one since February last year and it's still going great.

Only VV, not VW. But he's using a high quality regulator in these things that translates in to 8+ hours run times on a set of batteries. And you can actually vape this thing up to 6 volts - if you ever wanna go there - without it shutting down because it can't.

Price really isn't a requirement. I don't care if it's a billion dollars if it is worth a billion dollars. It better produce dancing girls with every vape though. I may have implied that when I said the price seems high for a provari, but my wallet is not limited.

The only reason I said the price seems high, is that I cannot fathom it being very complicated electronically, but I am a software engineer, not a capacitor/resistor/diode manufacturer. :)

I just want to do my due diligence and make sure there aren't any other American made mods with warranty that I have yet to check out and compare.
