I have decided to buy an I-GO.
Now I am concerned about the carto's. I have read some complaints.
Also- my last 3 boxes fo Turbo carto's don't work at all with my only e cig I have...V4L.
They get burned immediately. Not sure if it is my juice or the V4L battery but it makes me leary of trying new stuff.
My plan was to use CoolCarts with the IGO (for the time being).
I thought this would be the perfect solution.
Now I read that CoolCart's don't fit the IGO.
HELP. I think that the IGO has less power ( watts?) than the V4L XL so maybe I'll be fine but not sure.
I use 100% VG and would like to buy an IGO.
Suggestions on Carto's.
Anyone?

I'll try to answer some of your questions....

I've found that a lot of V4L cartos do fit the iGo just fine. The prefilled I have all fit. Of the blanks, the black ones fit but the light blue ones do not. I haven't tried any other colors yet.

The iGo has the same power as a freshly charged V4L battery but doesn't drop off like they do. Well, maybe about 5 minutes before it dies, but not before. That's one of the things I love about it.

The iGo cartos are an issue. I've been working on trying to figure out why they don't wick well and it's been hit or miss. What I've found is that you just have to keep working on them to get them going but once they start working well they don't stop. Here are the things I've tried that have been successful with different cartos: Poked the stuffing all over with a needle, fluffed the filler with the needle, thinned the juice out with vodka, thinned the juice with distilled water, pushed the filler down with tweezers so that it's closer to the coil, heated them with a blow dryer because they seem to work better warm than cold, put drops of distilled water on top of a filled carto that just will not wick right.

Even with the carto issues it's 1000x better and easier than what i was doing before. You will be happy you made the leap, sweetniko.

I have used both wow and coolcarts with my iGo batteries. Only one didn't screw down all the way. Two or three I had to raise the post a bit on the carto but I have had to do that with my v4l batts too. Luckily I use pg juice so no issues with the iGo carts either, but I do fluff them per other posters suggestion.

Well I got my IGO today.
It works well with one of my juices (100%) PG. This is the only juice I purchase but do not vape that often.
Unfortunately, I mostly vape VG and it burned the carto after one drag.
I am thinking they are just like my Turbo carto's and will not work with VG.
I cannot thin the VG b/c that would change the flavor of the juice. I did this one time and didn't like it. I make my own juice with just VG and ethol maltol.
I tried 7 cool carto's all diff colors but they did not work with the IGO.
I know turning the screw to the right will make them fire up on the IGO but then the IGO started to blink 3 times. I found one cool carto that DID work. I guess I'll fiddle with my new shipment of cool cartos tomorrow ( turning the bottom screw) b/c I really want to use my IGO. ( I want to use it with my everyday juice...not just PG).

UPDATE: My IGO carto's are all in the trash. But I can get almost any carto to work with the IGO.
Just turn the screw at the bottom of the carto to the right about a quarter turn.
I also had to file down my IGO so that the reg cartos would screw on all the way.
THis did not affect the big 3 mil cartos...they still fired up...just had a wicking issue.
I do not like horizontal coils. I wish they would make a big vertical coil carto.
THis would solve all my problems.

They are somewhat of a pain but I have managed to fix almost all of mine. Some of them just take a lot of work. It's too late for Niko's since they are in the trash, but for anyone else having problems maybe some of my fixes will help...

Wicking Problems:
- Thin the first fill with distilled water so it can soak in faster.
- Be patient... sometimes it takes a few days to soak in.
- Aerate the filler with a needle.
- Tamp the filler down closer to the coil

Too much filler:
- Remove the filler with tweezers (better if it's soaked w/ juice)
- Unroll it gently and trim about 1/8 inch off the outside end.
- Roll it back up around a straw leaving the inner filler material hanging out the bottom.
- Work it back in over the center tube with the straw and tamp it down firmly with open tweezers.

Other comments:

- Someone mentioned filling with a syringe but I haven't tried that yet. It would make sense to fill near the tube to get the inner wick material soaked faster.
- If they've been working, but start to get that burning taste/smell... tamp the filler down closer to the coil and it generally fixes your carto.

Hope this helps. :)
