I'm new to vaping, but I'm still waiting for the classic "sir, you can't smoke here". Even outside (school, work(hospital w/ non smoking policy)) sometimes I know the comment can be made. Not a good way to introduce the public to vaping, unless you change their mind on the issue.

I was thinking, it would help differentiate us more and ease the stereotypes that vapors' get from cigarette association, if we act offended when someone thinks were smoking.

Think about it. If someone tells me not to smoke, and I respond "Eww, im not smoking. Cigarettes are nasty. Gross, This is a PV..."(ect.) It would give them a better understanding of the difference between the two. Just like if you called person A a girl, when they were a guy...they'd be offended and hastily correct you. Chances are you'll never make that mistake for person A again, and you'd prolly be more aware to not make the mistake again on anyone else. Wouldn't that have the same effect for the Smoke/vape association?
