It has a resistance meter, too.

Click the power button 7 times for battery voltage.

Click the fire button 5 times for resistance.

You can get them a lot cheaper than that, too.

Didn't know about the resistance meter. The link is for the whole kit for $99 which comes with the tube, an 18650 batt, multi-charger, case, carto, and drip tip. The device only sels for $45. A good price.

That's only half true...Only certain versions have atty ohm reader...do your research before you buy, as some of the digital potentiometer read outs are off as well.

The one linked looks to be an l-rider version, which is what I have. Is there more than one version of the l-rider chrome LT?

let me first apologize for the flame war this comment might bring down on this thread...

Nothing matches the reliability, accuracy, and durability of the ProVari. Every arsenal should have one, its always guaranteed to fire the same and for that matter fire. Now.. with that said...

A zMax (v2) or lavatube (4 w/3.5 amp limit) is a great alternative if you have a budget and want something that will perform well. I have both an love them both, and they generally see more daily use than my ProVari. If you have the money, buy a ProVari you wont regret it. If you don't have the cash, get a zMax or LT and you will be perfectly happy.
