Just placed my order at Vivid Smoke:
The HCigar Kayfun comes with a few things that are missing in some or most of the other KF clone kits that I've seen. Most kits include both the polypropylene and stainless tank bodies and a small bit of Kanthal and silica wick material for building the coil. But the zippered carrying case and the 510 drip tip adapter which are included with the HCigar clone aren't with most other kits.
The 510 drip tip adapter was especially important to me as I HATE metal drip tips. I like the way the chrome tip on my PT2 looks, for instance, but I quickly replaced it with the black Delrin tip I received on my SmokTech DCT kit. It looks quite nice on the PT2 when it's parked on my black SLB eGo-V, in fact. The eGo-V / PT2 / black Delrin DT have become my standard portable rig. I intend to replace the PT2 with the PT3, assuming I prefer the PT3, which I predict I will as I've been gravitating toward dual-coil heads.
I was reluctant at first, as I prefer to vape my MBV Black Ice at low voltage and medium-to-high resistance. But thanks to you ECFers teaching me that parallel dual-coils mean I can run a bit more power/voltage through the same final resistance and get more flavor and vapor without burning my favorite electric juice, I've learned a better way to vape.
And I've been "migrating" my only non-metal 510 drip tip back and forth all over the place as it's come to be my favorite for size, shape and material, which is why I've ordered three more that are almost identical to it so that each of my toppers, including the KF, can have its own.
(I realize it may be sacrilege to put a $2 plastic drip tip on a Kayfun. Maybe I'll figure out a way to hide it with my thumb if I ever go to a vape meet.)
Now I'm just waiting for my vape mail to arrive. Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!
