But today I ordered two tanks for my eVic-S and a big bottle of my ADV...
-- SmokTech DCT w/ five DCT 510 1.5Ω cartos (from MVS. I hope I don't regret not buying the Boge F16 two-hole cartos for it. I'll order 'em if I end up outrunning the stock single-hole ones.)
-- Kanger ProTank 3 (on sale for $10 at VapeRev!)
-- MBV Black Ice 236mL 50/50 18mg +1FS
Follow up: VapeRev sent me an iClear 30s instead of the PT3 I ordered. It was the only thing on that order. The price was about the same, and I'm in
"trying new tanks mode" anyway, so I'm not complaining. It's was a nice tank for about 5 days, then it began leaking juice into my mouth. I'll take it apart, clean it, give it a new coil someday and try it again, but for now it's on my slowly growing "less used" pile of vaping stuff.
It was kind of a good thing, though, because in the days since I received it, I decided that I like single coils better than duals, so I ended up ordering a PT
2 (from a different vendor). And now it's my new favorite tank.
And I like the DCT overall, but after spilling 3mL of juice in my lap (does that happen to EVERYONE their first time with the DCT, or was it just me?), I'm setting it aside until I can order a U-DCT - the one with the permanent caps and locking ring.
And I did go for the Boge F-16 cartos, for the reason described above. Since I've realized that I'm a high-resistance kind of guy, I got the SR ones. (They report as 2.9Ω on my eGo.) I like them very much. I was surprised at how easily they prime, especially after sucking my lungs inside out on the stock SmokTech ones, and still not getting decent performance. I don't get it - both versions are two-holed, and the holes look about the same size to me on both models. And I used the exact same 50/50 juice with both of them. Oh well...
So I'm set with great cartos. Now all I need is a carto/tank that doesn't pop its seams when the wind blows.
