Is that one of the better chargers? I need to buy one but not sure which one. I have the I2 but wanting to get a better one. Thanks

Well it's certainly better than my i2, which went goofy on me and is saying batteries are charged in a few seconds when they are not. I've had that i2 for 10 months now, and it's been doing that on and off for a while now. I don't trust it anymore. The LUC V4 seems to be very well reviewed out there, and while there may be better chargers, perhaps X-Tar, I think I'll be happy with this one.

Well I have it now, it's on my desk charging an Efest 18650 IMR 2000 mAh battery, it says the battery is at 4.2 volts, but it's still charging, I'm not sure what it will display when it's done charging. I did find the unlabeled button to switch it to 1 amp from .5 amp. It doesn't have the LCD display that's on the version shown on the manual, it has the LED display, and I would have preferred the LCD display.

There's a little arrow symbol blinking up and down between the voltage readout and the battery symbol that shows the level, and I'm assuming it will stop when the battery is fully charged. IDK, maybe it will turn green or something, that would be nice. It should be able to charge at 1 amp on two channels but I'm not sure which ones, it doesn't say in the minimal manual it came with. It's pretty spiffy that I can charge my iPhone with it though.

I actually got the efest luc charger 4 slot version, after exchanging an nitecore i2, and it's a lot better, you can control your charge speeds either 0.5, 1, or 2 amps in the center 2 only, but it won't charge the 2 other slots, while at 2 amps, but all 4 can charge at 1 amp, and what I heard the nitecore i4 only does 0.5 amps with all 4. The LCD screen is nice, and also comes with a car charger, and you can charge other devices using a USB connection and fully charged battery in the 2nd slot. The only thing is if you change charge speeds at 4.1V it sometimes will just stop charging until you remove the battery or unplug/replug it in.

I got an XTAR VP1 charger about a month ago, and I'll say this--it is AWESOME. My batteries last longer in my mods, they charge quicker than in a cheap charger, and I love the digital display on this charger to let you know what the charge is on the batteries.

It was a little on the spendy side, but IMO, worth every penny...

just ordered some Dutch Apple Pie :p & Extreme Ice from Slim's-- hoping the Extreme Ice can be a new ½-price replacement for the 1st juice i ever bought, Frigid B@st@rd from Vixen Vapors... don't get me wrong-- the Frigid B@st@rd was great, but VV's prices are a bit too high for my liking, especially compared to folks like Slim's & MBV....

Daniel from Slim's replied (not hardly an hour after i sent the email) that the Extreme Ice is closer to a winterfresh flavor & the site says it's a strong menthol, so it's really seeming like it'll do the trick! :vapor:
