If liquid leaks out, like all of it, right after filling, the problem is air getting in from the top and probably from the needle puncture in the inner silicon seal. A CE3, and all bottom coil devices, are a balance of equal pressure and surface tension. If air can get into the device, especially from the top, they will leak.

I would suggest using a sharp needle to make the initial puncture through the inner seal. This prevents tearing of that seal on the initial puncture and provides a path of sorts for the blunt tipped needle when filling them.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.

I would be lying if I said that I am not slightly nervous about my recent CE3 purchase. Vape Mail should arrive soon and I will see if I have any issues with mine. There are two threads going with leaking issues and I don't know if it is just new users, not accustomed to the quirks or a QC problem.

I will report back on this matter. I will make it a top priority.......well, after working.......and eating.......and TV......and a nap

I basically haven't had any problems with the CE3. Once or twice after refilling I had a bit of a leak but I shoved a O mouthpiece down onto the top of the silicone stopper and it quit leaking:)

You found an alternate solution for the torn filler hole! I have some iTatse mini clearos that have to be filled with a syringe. They are like a CE3 but a little smaller. Anyhow, the fill hole really isn't sealed, like a CE3, but the mouthpiece tip is a very tight fit in the tube and completely covers the inner silicon seal to make sure there are no leaks.

Now, you've got me thinking that a secondary seal, using a trimmed down mouthpiece tip, might be a quick easy fix for a leaky CE3! That's a great fix, Lizzie!
