What do I need/do for just tasting new juices?

I've currently got about 15 new juices here that I am spending alot of time trying to get thru. I have a Volt X2 using CE3's and it's getting to be a pain to fill and clean multiples just to try out a new juice. I know, noob question, but do I need anything else to make the process of tasting new juices go quicker? Can I do something different with what I have?

I would love to be able to do it that way, but I have an auto. Would I need to have a manual battery for doing this with an atty?

Either tear the filler/ stuffing out of a cartomizer carefully leaving the coil remaining or buy an 808 atomizer.

Edit: atomizers are basically cartomizers without the filler/ stuffing and airway tube.

Atomizers are absolutely what you are looking for. What battery do you use? Do you know if it's a 510 eGo threading? If so, I recommend genuine Joyetech atomizers.

If you're using a fixed voltage device, such as a normal eGo, I would suggest getting a "low resistance" atomizer within the 1.5-1.8 ohm range.

If you have a variable voltage device, and you like vaping at higher voltages, I suggest "standard" or "high resistance" atomizers within the 2.0-3.0 ohm range.

If my second statement confused you big time, you're using a fixed voltage battery and I suggest you get yourself at least a handful of genuine Joyetech 510 low resistance atomizers. Super easy to clean, and man, do they make your juice taste deLISCious.

EDIT: Forgot to suggest how to use an atomizer. Basically you just screw it onto your battery just like any other tank or carto, drip 2-3 drops of your juice directly into the atomizer (yes, the middle is perfectly fine), pop on your 510 drip tip (you absolutely MUST have a drip tip, it's a neccesity with atomizers), let it sit for a couple of seconds, they puff away. You typically get three-four really good hits, but then it'll immediately taste burnt. This is ok. All you need to do is either drip the juice back down your drip tip (I prefer popping the tip off, dripping directly into the atomizer, then replacing the drip tip. Avoid juice-in-mouth that way). They don't last forever, but mine have lasted a good two months.

P.S. A lot of people use "cones" to screw over the atomizer to protect the battery from dripping (eGo Cone - VaporCast)

Hope this helps.

Here's a link to what I'm talking about:

RonSki,
Just to taste test juice ,an atomizer is easiest. The drawback for you is since your batteries are auto , the connection isn't sealed. Thus when dripping liquid on the atomizer, if it gets flooded (it will) the juice will seep through the bottom of atomizer connection and into the battery and ruin it.
If you are going to order an atomizer, also order a manual battery with sealed connection and you will be happy you did.

That is so what I want to do, but the Outlaw video says not to do that with Auto batteries. I'm confused, can I, or can I not?

When I had a 808, I was new and I basically used one carto for each flavor. If you don't like the flavor you can always wash the cartos out down the road.

Yes, I'm washing them out now but I don't want to fill 15 at a time and have to wash them if I don't like it. Wanna keep the washing to a minimum ;)

THANK YOU for this! Yes, I need full explanations for things right now  I have a Volt X2 which I believe IS a 510 thread (right?). I haven't gotten to changing voltages yet, that will have to come later. I would really like to use these carto's from the sampler pack for something since I already know there's a few flavors I don't like. But to help me understand (maybe I should have read all this somewhere already), the atomizer is just the heating coil that turns the liquid into vapor, I get that, but why buy a separate atomizer if I can take the "stuff" out of one of my unused carto's? Is there something I'm missing here? All carto's, when broken down into their pieces, have an atomizer in them, but when they're assembled, they're just not called that right? Ohhhhh, I'm confusing myself! Sorry everyone!!!:facepalm:

Thank you. Does it matter that my X2 battery is a sealed battery? I guess I'm ordering a manual batt one way or another!

Check to see if yours is one of the sealed auto batteries; they are relatively rare but there are supposed to be some around. If they are sealed, ask the vendor first, but they'll likely be okay to use.

Alternately, bite the bullet and get a single manual battery of the same general make/model as your autos, just for testing eliquids.

Yes, they are sealed. I didn't know they were rare, every one I have is sealed ;) I'll order a manual one if I need to, but do I really need to? I'm far from a cheapskate ( I love to spend!!), but I AM impatient

The problem with "most" auto batteries is they have an air hole at the end of the battery (at the carto connector end) and if juice gets into the battery it can ruin the battery.
You could also ask the SI Vendor Rep "Imagine" in the ECF SI Thread:
Smokeless Image
I've got the highest of regard for SI but it boggles my mind as to why they don't sell atomizers.

HEADS UP:

You have Volt equipment. They are NOT 510 threaded devices, they are 808 threaded. Everyone's suggestions are good, except they are pointing you towards gear that will not work with your equipment without an adapter. Or, get 808 threaded atomizers and equivalents.

Also, all Smokeless Image products purchased in at least the last 6 months or so are sealed batteries. You would probably be fine using an atomizer to drip onto your sealed auto battery.
