Hello everyone, Happy Friday!
I am wanting to get two setups. One pass-thru that I will use for dripping at home and then one mobile tank setup for on the go.

For my mobile setup, I just ordered a map-tank ce2, a drip tip and a ss Vmax. That should be a good setup, right? I hope so. lol

But for the dripping setup, im not sure what to order. Any tips or suggestions???

Hello, you need some atty's for the drip setup. What voltage your passthru runs at will determine what ohm atty's to try. If your running at 3.7/4.2v I'd get something in the 1.5 to 2 ohm range, if your running at 5v and up I'd go to 2.5 to 3 ohms. The higher ohm attys will work at a lower voltage, you just get a cooler vape and less vapor. I can't really give good advice on a pass thru device as all I've had was an Ego type, but when I was looking at them I liked the options I saw here. Saber Touch Passthru

The CE2 MAP setup is great, although I don't think I would recommend it as an out and about setup due to the fact that it can't be left horizontal for any lenght of time or it may flood. Don't get me wrong, I use my tanks out and about all the time, just letting you know that particular drawback exists. I'd recommend buying 5 packs of CE2's and cutting them yourself, much cheaper. With the Vmax I'd suggest getting 3 ohm CE2's.

A few pointers when dealing with the MAP tank that I hav'nt seen on the vids I've watched.
1. If you don't already have an Ego type battery it would be good to get one, its great for dry burning the CE2's and helps to work the bottom cap off the
tube when it's time for a cleaning.
2. There's really no need to ever remove the top cap, unless you want to change the o-ring, all maintenance can be done by removing the bottom cap.
3. When you insert the cap in the tube do it with a twisting motion rather than just pushing it on and snapping it in place. This prevents the o-ring from
getting wedged and sometimes not sealing correctly.

If you have any problems getting the CE2's in or out of the bottom cap, some can be pretty tight, send me a pm and I'll let you know how i get it done. Good luck

I would have to agree with bacc.vap, you do need a drip shield, I will also agree on what you want to use the atomizer on. Personally i have found a 2.0 ohm bridgeless is fine at 3.3 to 3.9V HOWEVER if you want the flavor and throat hit you need to take that same 2 ohm and run it at 5V or 6V and you are in heaven.

The best Drip system is one that you find you like, keeps you off the stink cig's and is something you like looking at

I run 2.3 ohm standard Joye 510 atomizers on my Chucks at 5 volts on a daily basis.
That seems a good power output for most of my juices, if not a bit strong.

And most of my juices are dark and/or heavy tobaccos, coffees, and chocolate blends. not light and/or fruity.
I'm quite sure that much power would instantly crush more delicate juices.

I also run the same atomizers on my 650mah Twist for when out and about.

I hate the fact that I am starting to like the Twist better though.
I have found that I do like to turn it down to almost 4 volts sometimes.
