I got all my nic and PG and VG from here, https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/account.php They also have syringes...buy some 5 ml ones and at least one 30 ml one. They also have empty plastic bottles and any order over 75 dollars is free shipping.

I get my flavorings from here. Electronic Cigarette flavors, E cigarette flavors, and e flavoring. just cause thats where I used to get my premixed from and knew what to expect.

Then you want to download this....eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator Makes mixing super simple!

Hope this helps!

Good question! Complicated answers.
I have experimented a bit more than I may have needed to, but now, a few dollars later, I am pretty well-versed. I got some nicotine, vegetable glycerine, and flavor concentrates from Totally Wicked and a few models of ecigs as well. They have a great selection. They also have some exotic flavors like starfruit and gooseberry as well as the standards, and I find the quality to be consistent. There is a great thread on here about how to calculate your formula vis how much of your nicotine solution to use. Totally Wicked actually sends you a nifty card that breaks it down in a very straight forward way. I have it handy when I create my juices. Wizard Labs reportedly has the best nicotine solution, but they are frequently sold out. Wizard also sells some of the top flavor manufacturers as well.
I got test tubes, graduated cylinders, syringes, needle-top bottles, and rubber test tube stoppers with small holes in them for steeping all at Amazon. Steeping is discussed on the forum. It's recommended more for some flavors than others and I find that some nicotine solutions have a sort of nutty flavor that I like to steep, i.e. let air out, for a while to get it more neutral tasting. This is where the test tubes come in handy. Steeping juice is more for letting the flavors develop, integrate, and settle.
I started with just a syringe and reusing bottles I bought with e-liquid in them already. I made new labels for them and voila. Then the set-up sort of exploded into a full scale laboratory.
My best lesson so far has been to wrap my syringe in clear packing tape because the numbers and lines rub off quickly. The tape helps you keep the syringe for a long time.
Happy mixing!

i just placed a big order at WIZARDLABS.COM got about 40 something flavors, one of every size syringe, every size blunt tip needle, volumetric flask, different additives like sweetener, sour, smooth... and some other odds and ends. they were sold out of nic, so i got it from myfreedomsmokes. cant wait to start mixing! hope i can perfect it and create some masterpieces!

I just got in my order couple of days ago, and got from basic to intermediate stuff, i guess.

1. Nicotine. You can get it in multiple strengths. Order stronger than what you want to vape at, because your flavorings, PG, and VG will dilute the nicotine strength. The stronger the nicotine, the more expensive it is per ML, but each ML will last you longer, because you'll use less in each recipe you make. I vape 6mg in my RDA, and 12 in my tanks, so I ordered 60mg/ml nicotine. To make a 10ml bottle of ejuice at 6mg, i'll need 1ml of the nicotine, and 9mls of flavorings, pg, and vg. Makes it easy. You can get it in a PG or VG base, some seem to think the PG base helps preserve the nic longer. Your choice - if you're making MAX VG juices, you'll want your nic in VG.

2. Propylene Glycol & Vegetable glycerine: available from a number of sources, I used Wizard Labs as I was getting my nicotine from them already and wanted to make it up to free shipping. Available from a number of sources on Amazon, as well.

3. Flavorings: Wizard Labs has a huge selection, at fairly good prices, in small vials. Good for starting out - 1.49/1.99/per bottle is not going to break the bank.

4. Syringes - You'll want a couple of larger ones (5 or 10ml) for your PG/VG, and smaller (1ml) for your flavorings. I went ahead and ordered a bag of 100 1mls off of Amazon, and they work great - I can have a separate one for each flavor.

5. Bottles - order more than you think you'll need. I bought 10ml for making juices, 30mls for the juices I really like, and just ordered some 5ml to give out samples to friends :)

That's it for basics! It is an initial investment, but you can make a ton of juice for very cheap. All together (even with the 30+ flavorings, bottles, VG/PG/Nic/etc), I spent around $175, but I have enough to make 1000mL+ of liquid. That's 33 30ml bottles, at around $5 each; or 100 10ml bottles at $1.75/ea - and I normally pay $6-7 for the same size bottle from vendors! It'll only get cheaper as I buy more.
