That's what I use. I put it on my dash and I can just set my vamo on it and it doesn't go anywhere.

I have a handkerchief in the smaller cup holder in my Jeep. My SVD or ego always fits snuggly down in it while driving. The Jeep cup holders are unusually deep so that helps with the moving around. There's not much sticking out.

Also you can make a holder with double sided tape ( the good kind) and small black PVC pipe cut to the right size with a cap on the bottom
