What do you guys think about my set-up?

Hi guys. i started with an Ego-c starterkit, but i didn't handle the thicker liquids that well.

i now use an eGo-c upgraded battery + kanger mt3 clearomizer.

you guys think this works?

Ego-C and a clearomizer, it's a solid setup for sure.

Maybe it didn't wick properly? Most eGo starter kits I've seen come with a CE4 or another top coil clearomizer.

Yes, I think it probably works very well... except for tank cracking juices, where you'll do well to invest in a Kanger Mini Protank. That doesn't share heads with the T3, but it will with a less expensive Kanger EVOD plastic tank. I also recommend you get a backup battery to vape on while that one is charging. I have two of the Joyetech USB passthrough eGos and like them.

yeah, i got the starterkit with 2 100% Pg juices, and i didnt like the extreme throathit. did some research and found out i needed VG more. got 70% VG juice from dekang. coffee taste. put it in the cartridge, ( i got the starterkit for half a week) and the first 3 drags were amazing, tasted like ice coffee. then it started to 'gurgle' and it had this nasty burned taste. tried EVERYTHING also on the other ego, didnt work. the other pg juices did tho. just ordered the kanger mt3 and a new upgraded ego-c battery, and you guys are giving me great hopes!

EDIT: im mainly looking for taste and nice clouds. also, i got a 1.8 ohm clearo. store owner told me that worked better with the upgraded ego-c. it seems to have 2 options but i gotta find that out.

coffee flavor - if it is dark - will do this in just about anything other than dripping or a carto tank. It is very dark and thick. I also do high VG juice and coffee flavors are a favorite- other than a few light color coffees (9 2 5 from goodlife is very light golden) they do not work well in PTs, Evods, MT3s. Which makes me sad bc I like simple BCCs for fill and go to be prepared for my day...so I have added pyrex cartos to my repertoire for these tasty dark coffee and chocolate flavors.

yes its very dark brown. i tried adding distilled water but it still gives me a clogged up atomizer and ends up with a burned taste... but it doesnt work in a mt3 neither?

Super dark liquids do not do so well in my experience (especially since I love coffee and high VG lol) It just tastes like a burning grossness in anything other than direct dripping or a carto. I only keep a very few dark ones around since they are such a hassle and I have mostly found lighter clearer flavors that wick fine with the same taste from different vendors.

It will work better as it's a bottom coil which means the head (coil+ wick) is on the bottom so juice doesn't have to wick UP. Dark and/ or heavy VG juices will still clog it though. Heads can be washed and dry burned as part of a maintenance routine.

You either have to buy extra heads and rotate them through a cleaning cycle or vape lighter less VG juice. You could try adding a tiny distilled water to the bottle- shake really well after adding.
