Sheesh, some of you guys need to find your way into the PIF group with hundreds of bottles of juice and such lol.
I think PIF is great! For giving away stuff you're not going to use. I can only speak for myself ... But, I didn't build a stockpile so I'd have something to give away. I have it because I plan to use it.

There have been a few times when I read a moving story of hardship here on ECF. Moved me to considering obtaining address for a charitable PayPal contribution. That is something I could see me doing. But, it's a little irksome to hear people who seem to think that if you've thought ahead enough to make a secure stash, then you should just give it away. I mean, it's not like having a full cupboard is a problem I wish to be rid of. I ain't rich. Just saying.

I will refrain from participating in this type of thread from here on out. And, zadane, I am sorry. It's not you alone who provoked this post. :)

Peace.

So far, I've spent almost as much on vaping as a months worths of analogs. That's because I've purchased 2-510's, 1-Joye Ego, and 2 sets of e-cigs that came with PCCs. I've spent about 100.00 on extras and juices, including all the stuff I need to DIY. So far, I like my DIY juices a lot better than the pre-mades, so I'm hoping that I'll save lots of money that way after this first month of getting all my "set ups".

PIF is exactly about trading things you're not going to use. Before I found my daily vape (which I first tried from a PIF trade, btw) I'd bought somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-50 different flavors, mostly sample packs purchased from all over. Many of them I liked. Some I didn't. The ones that I didn't, I traded in PIF. Others were very happy to get what I didn't like. In some cases, they got to try weird stuff that they might not have purchased, like Pizza and Bacon French Toast. In other cases, they got juice that I wouldn't put in my atty if you paid me, like coffee flavors. Taste is subjective and PIF is great for that.

Biff, I understand PIF and think it's great. I was just venting because in threads like this there's always someone who sees people who are well stocked and feel the need to "suggest" a way to lighten their load. What's up with that? Do they think we've stocked up accidently? As I said, I will skip participation in this type of thread in the future.

After I bought my 3 Riva kits and my mega atty's and found my 6 Fave juices. Which took me about 6 months and during that time I was spending around $300 a month.I also just bought a blue and a green ego with mega cone atty's had to have them such nice colors lol. Now that I found the new Tank atty's I will be replacing all my mega atty's with Tnak atty's and a few backup tank atty's so I'm lookin at spending another $150 on those and there are couple of juices I still wanna try but after that I should be able to cut the spending down to like $50 a month.

My kit and a few extra cartos cost $0.64 more than I would have spent on a carton of analogs, and they lasted a little longer than the carton would have.

Since then, I've been going the "it's about time I'd have bought a carton, so I'll spend that amount on more hardware and juice" route.

Once I'm completely situated hardware-wise, I'll probably spend about $50-60 a month on juice and replacement cartos.

Ive spent about $350.... Got a leo, then a bunch of juice... a bunch more juice with a kr8... a PT leo. Then more Leo batteries, atomisers, cartos for the kr8. more juice. Then today I saw the FreedomSmokes sale so I had to get even more juice. Baby back rib juice.
I figure I should be good for a couple of months on juice and hardware (until Leo cartos come out). At a pack a day (5.50) that's just over two months of cigs.... Though I am selling off my last pack for about 75 cents each :)

If I can keep it under $60/month on average I'll be pretty happy.

I'm seeing a lot of "as soon as I get this" types of posts.

Well, as one who has found exactly what I need, I have been set for quite awhile.
I can go months without spending anything now.

I probably average about $30 per month on juice at this point.
Been that way for about six months.

Just don't ask me what I spent to get to this point though.
:)

This is my first month vaping and I have spend $180 on supplies and juices. At first that seemed like a lot to me, but then I realized I spend would spend $200 a month in analogs. I'm also hoping that I have enough supplies that I won't need to get anything next month. I just need to keep myself away from my debit cards and e juice vendor websites!
