Right now my biggest difficulty in quitting smoking, is I cannot vape any of the carts I have in the morning without getting anxious, or sick to my stomach. Right now I'm switching between grape, menthol, and ry4; all 16mg nic. Any recommendations to a good morning vape? Maybe the coffee flavor? What do you vape in the am?

I smoke an analog. I know that's bad, but one a day is better than 40. I'm still looking for a juice I can stand for that first-thing vape. Vapor Station's Tampa comes close, but it makes me cough more than an analog. As red said, 555 is pretty good in the morning, too, but I'm still stuck with that one analog. After that, it's vape-city on the way to work and for the rest of the day.

I finally killed a battery, I jut noticed my mini pcc says it's got 2 battery bars left though, which is a bit odd.

The mini-PCC's display is wonked. 2 bars on the mini-battery side of the display (to the left) means it's dead. When you hold the button for three seconds to charge the battery, it will flash the third bar until the battery is charged. Just make sure it's flashing that third bar, and the tip of the battery is lit, or it's not charging. Mine doesn't always work on the first try, and takes some persuasion sometimes to start charging.

if i could get down to that one a day thing I would be doing pretty great. my signature lies lol. Hardest thing for me is the morning, and vaping in public, I'm still a bit awkward about it, so I haven't done it very much.

When you say it is awkward vaping in public, do you mean using it where you could never smoke, or using it around other smokers?

After trying more than several ways of quitting cigarettes, I found that vaping a juice which was the closest to the flavor of my cigarettes worked for me. At first I wanted to try all the new and exciting flavors of juices offered for vaping. I was still having a craving for a cigarette. I found that if I vaped a flavor closests to my normal cigarette the craving went away.
I would vape a menthol (what I use to smoke) in the mornings; this is what my habit use to be, then later in the day I'd switch to one of the new juice flavors I found that I enjoyed. If I ever had a craving for a regular cigarette I'd immediately vape a menthol flavor.
I found that vaping a flavor as close to what I use to smoke, would get rid of the need for a regular/normal cigarette. It's been 5 months now since I quit smoking. Truthfully I still crave a real cigarette; at which point I reach for a menthol juice to get rid of the craving.
If I knew this when I started vaping, I would have quit cigarettes much sooner than I did.
Good luck and don't give up.

both to be honest. It's a bit uncomfortable to do, as of course questions arise, but I'm slowly easing into it.

Well, around my smoking co-workers they were pleasantly surprised that I could sit there with them and do my thing while they did theirs. The 1st time was some Q & A, but after that nobody really pays any attention. Pretty much the same with my friends. If anyone is interested in trying it, I give them info. Part of it could also be that I am happy & confident about this choice so I don't feel like I'm doing something odd. It would be a different story if the PV was one of those odd looking mods or something.
Vaping in traditionally no-smoking zones is another story. I don't want to offend, or bring unwanted attention to myself. So in a store or restaurant I either stealth vape or just wait til I get outside. I don't feel the need to do it just because I could. We got used to not smoking in those places, so I don't feel an urgent need to start now. I haven't yet tried sitting in a bar and seeing if it would be allowed. But again, I'd probably just stealth it.

Good points. Smoking Pineapple or Grape isn't going to satisfy my craving for a cigarette. That's why I stick with the more tobacco-like flavors. I'll do the fun flavors just for that - fun. But 99% of the time it is 555, RY4 and WowBoy.

I need to find a nice solid menthol newport flavor, but what I've realized is it doesn't really taste menthol at all. After smoking/vaping something purely menthol flavored, without battery acid, gas chamber gas, and lethal injection chemicals in it, i realized that cigarettes really taste terrible. I just can't quite shake it just yet. I'm gonna read into juices a bit. I'm a clumsy son of a bee sting though, so I could see myself getting intoxicated, dumping juice into my beer by some freak accident, and ending up on the news lol. I truly love vaping, but it's just not kicking the habit just yet, we'll find a healthy medium in between all this eventually.

The 'other guy' has a Newport menthol. If that's what it takes to help you out I have no qualms recommending another vendor. You may need a stronger nic too. And if you think you'll accidentally chug a bottle of juice, maybe you should stick to cartos, LOL.

In my case, the addiction was 75% habit -- just needed to have the pacifier, something to hold, etc. So a lower nic is working for me. I smoked GPC ultra lights so the lower nics work for me, but they don't work for others.

Zero and Frick, I was wondering if you ever had any difficulties moving from one to the other? I was thinking about that and could imagine my self forgetting which one I had and either drawing way to hard on the analog so that I choke myself or mistakenly put out my e-cig.
lol Heck sometimes I cant remember if its a manual or an automatic and cant figure out it's not working.

Was it something I said?
I flick the ash off my ecig all the time. And roll the window down in the car before I "light up". Even panic for a sec when i drop it, always worried about setting the world on fire with analogs, actually did set a car interior on fire once.

What I'm really scared of is throwing an ecig in a beer bottle/ash tray at a party, or worse a toilet!

That's one of the flavors I enjoy. The Nuport has a good strong flavor, but it's too smooth for me. Cowboy menthol has a bit more of a cig taste, or at least a better throat hit. Since I've been running extremely low on cartos, I've taken to mixing them in the carto. It's now a great smooth menthol with some throat hit. It goes well with morning coffee. Just don't tell my wife I'm using her cowboy because it's almost gone and it's out of stock...
