You won't find the perfect one it'll find you just keep treading the waters and let it happen. Then when that perfect one finds you another perfect one will creap up on you untill you've got a collection of your perfect ones. The PIF and Classified Forums are a great place for those not so perfect ones you'll collect along the way.

With the primer taste I've found the best thing is soaking and running alcohol for a few min blowing them out and letting them dry. Alcohol evaporates pretty fast so it doesn't take long. I do that with all my new attys now. At first I was just blowing them out and while that got a major portion of the primer out it still took a while of vaping before it was completely gone.

i just ordered an ego and it will be here soon. i keep hearing about this primer thing....what exactly is "primer"? Should i clean the atty with alcohol before i try vaping? What does the primer taste like? how much vaping time did it take for you before the primer taste was gone?

I predict you are going to be amazed! I can't wait to hear what you have to say about 6-7 hours into it with your new eGo! My favorite thread here is the new member thread because we hear so many "success" stories on here. We get to see someone brand new go from asking about everything and being sooo apprehensive to getting the kit and actually doing it. When is your eGo supposed to get there? Good luck. Let me just say, too, that it (for me) continues to get better and better and easier and easier.

Being I was a 2 pack a day smoker of mostly marlboro's, however as the cost went up, I would try and find the best deal on just about anything non-menthol. I have yet to find a "true" Tobacco flavor. Now that said I have only been vaping 4 months and have only ever ordered from Vapor4life so I can't speak for other companies yet. Out of the flavors they have for tobacco I really love the WOW 555. Also the Premium Hilton. Their version of Marlboro called "Cowboy" is a little to sweet to be a tobacco flavor for my taste buds anyway. Unlike alot of the others I see posting, I mostly only vape tobacco flavors. I have tried other flavors but Tobacco ones are my go to ones. The Two I recommended are my favorites.

When I started vaping, I had the same problem. I wanted my analog taste back, but I enjoyed the buzz so much more with the vape. About 2 months in, I finally broke down, and bought a pack of smokes because I was away, and left my charger at home, basically no way to use my 501mod. The tobacco didn't taste right to me any more, and it just wasn't as satisfying as sucking on an e-cig. Flavors I would never imaging liking, are my favorites today.

I will say this ... if you get into vaping you will likely be surprised after a period of time to find that tasting like a Marlboro Red is not something that appeals to you. I know that sounds crazy (and you may be one of the exceptions).

Excellent point.....the reason I started vaping was to get away from tobacco; not find a liquid version.

dont let this discourage you! this, as with many other things in life, takes alittle trail and error. besides, compare it to analogs, and well, it is healthier, doesnt make you smell like an ashtray, not to mention a hellovalot cheaper!! so what if you have tried three or four different flavors? just stick with it, and you'll find your comfort zone, I did anyways! I ordered 2 510 kits, one for myself, and one for my mother, with the intention of slacking off of analogs, saving money and maybe eventually quitting cigarettes for good. That was 19 days ago, and I have smoked 2 analogs since opening my kit and charging the first batt!! For me, 555 was a mainstay at first (after the prefilled carts were gone) while vaping some RY4 inbtwn. Seems like the more time goes by, the less I want that "tobacco" taste. But, I am a RY4 faithful! and am trying to find a good price on some that still has a good quality. Just keep it up, and go with what your tastes are, as you get away from the analogs, you'll find that it changes, as most do it seems. Stick with it and you wont be sorry....I sure am not!

This one's good, they just can't seem to keep it in stock. The last time I went to order, they were out, so I ordered their Benson&Hedges instead. Didn't like it much so I set it aside. Eventually mixed it with my remaining Marlboro USA mix, and found I liked the combo better than the USA mix alone, so now I get both and mix them.

One of my favorite mixes, however, is this mix with a bit of fruit flavor added - vaping Marl/Benson/Peach mix right now.

Yep mine too. I remember when I first tried it almost a year ago when I was first trying vendors that one has definately stuck with me as one of my favorites. Your combination sounds good. I might have to try that.

Way to go rodent tamer. You are going to love that Ego. The Max boro ultimate from Freedom Smoke USA is my favorite tobacco flavor. Many people like the Wyatt Earp---me not so much.

The primer is some nasty juice that the manufacturers put in the atty. Presumably to keep newbies from burning up a dry atty when they first get it. Blow out as much as you can and then soak and slosh the atty for a few minutes in IPA. Blow out the alcohol and let it dry. May take several hours. Don't forget to drop two or three drops of e-juice directly into the atty, right on the bridge, before you use it the first time.

My Ego arrived on thurs. and have been vaping ever since. I loooooooooooove it! I was really doubtful that the e-cig would satisfy like an analog or that the throat hit would be similar, but i was pleasantly shocked upon my first inhale/exhale.....i knew right away, i would never go back. I can't believe i haven't touched or even wanted an analog. You were all right, it is better! When i first got it, i practiced all night and cleaned the primer out as best i could. In the morning i was woken up by the disgusting smell of an analog my boyfriend was smoking.....i started yelling at him: "Are you analoging!!!!?" I stomped into the living room, grabbed the pack of marlboro and threw them out. LOL.
Suffice it to say, he's no longer an "analoger" and loves vaping too. i even like the juice i got. i got the max boro from freedom smokes and like that one the best. Also like the cappucino, but not the wyatt earp. i just ordered more juice at vapor bomb and looking forward to trying those.
Anyway, i'm so happy i made the switch. I've already saved so much money and with what my boyfriend and i usually spent on analogs, the e cig investment has already paid for itself. I can smell again! and my apt. does not have that ashtray stank anymore. This is the best invention ever! Phillip Morris can kiss my jersey %#@ goodbye!

For my taste buds Viking Vapor Cherry Smoke Tobacco came pretty close to mimicking the flavor of smoking for me. The juice had to sit around for a couple of weeks before the smoke flavor came out. Check out some of the juice vendors for tobacco flavors with a hint of smoke flavoring added. I would suggest buying several sample size of non-tobacco flavors though. You will probably find that you prefer those :)

In my short time vapping I find that your taste buds are going to go through many many changes and what tastes good today next week will not be hitting the spot. Don't worry about it just keep trying different tastes it will all settel out over time. Right now I am vapping a mix of Cuban Cigar & Peach blend about 70-30 just to take the harshness out of the Cuban & it tastes great. Good Luck and enjoy the vap.

I smoked Marlboro red for 40 years and when I started vaping all I would vape was tobacco flavors. I have tried every flavor of tobacco and never found the exact flavor. The best I found was TW marlboro but still not the same. Then after a while I tried other flavors. I now only vape atomic cinnacide from Tasty Vapor. Once you try this and get that great throat hit is provides you don't want anything else.

I never thought I would vape anything but tobacco.

Easy answer, The perfect tobacco taste was developed by a multi-million dollar company called Dekang in China who has specialist working on a perfect 'match' on what taste near 100% tobacco. All these other guys like Alien Vision get their stuff ordered from this company specially made..and sell it. DeKang has scientist and taste expert working non stop to increase the line of great products they sell. "I am no way affiliated with Dekang but I praise their stuff"
So with that all said the nearest real tobacco I found is from Dekang China and it is their Virginia.
