Preferably in black (or silver) with a blue LED. Must also be a cylindrical mouthpiece / cart.

I've been away from the forum for a while & have to admit I don't know what's out there anymore. I'm looking for alternatives for when Intellicig run out of their soon to be discontinued black & silver variants.

I have tried other models in the past, but have always gone back to M401/2 because I find the size / shape comfortable.

All help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

What would you say makes it an improvement on a 401?
You'd be moving from an M401 atomizer to an Ego Type-A atomizer with the eRoll.
I'm not sure I'd call that an improvement.

But what is good about the eRoll is that you can put the whole e-cig into the PCC without unscrewing the battery.

And also you will be using small tanks instead of having to deal with cartridges.
That may or may not be a plus to you, depending on how you are handling your cartridges.

As for an answer to your question, you might want to check with a user here named DawnBella and see if you can pick her brain.
She says she has tried pretty much every mini e-cig out there, so she should have some good insight for you.
I asked DawnBella for the best mini several months ago and she preferred the Sidesho. I asked again after she got the eRoll, and at that time she still preferred the Sidesho. I doubt she's changed her mind since then. ;)

The Sidesho is a newer model j108 battery. It's a 510 connection and the same diameter as the Blu or Volcano, so 8.5 mm. The battery life is around 120 mAh. It doesn't activate from noise or the wind and it has a nice, easy draw. The atomizers are very good. They're exposed bridge like the 306, but the draw is much lighter and I prefer that over a stiff automatic. They're also available as manual batteries, but I prefer autos.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to find modern j108 batteries in the States outside of Modern Vapor. The prices aren't outrageous, but I don't think they ship oversees and I have no clue where to begin looking for them in the UK.

Good luck.

If i remember correctly Dawnbella was cruising through atomizers with her eroll, and it probably drove her crazy. I was getting weeks from each atty before i had to rewick them. Most people obviously would replace but rewicking with SS is easily done with those heads. There is an eroll section on the forums with tons of info and positive reviews. I spent a lot of time looking for a solid mini myself and the eroll was my favorite by a longshot

I have an m402 and the eroll hits far better and is less finnicky. I get dry pulls on the 402 and its very limited in power.
You get dry pulls because there is an inherent wicking problem with any cartridge model.

But there are lots of ways to improve wicking, and I'm thinking our friend here has a working solution since he has been using them so long.
That doesn't mean that futzing with the cartridge filler is exactly fun, and I know I would never do that again.

As far as the power, it all depends on the voltage delivered, and of course the atomizer resistance.

The eRoll, if I am not mistaken, is regulated at 3.6 volts?
I have no idea if the 401/402/403 batteries are 3.7 volts or regulated 3.4 volts like the 510 batteries.

Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to expand on my previous brief answer.

Seriously considering the eRoll as I have found a number of UK suppliers. I have used 510s in the past (both stanard & mega batteries(which I won from TW)) & in all honesty didn't like them. I prefer thediameter of a 401, which is why I'm looking at minis.

Also thinking of investing in an ePipe for home use, so the mini is for out & about use. I'm a mobile DJ so noise activation would be a major issue. Would prefer auto to manual batteries, although my main criteria are size & colour. Must be the size of (or thereabouts)a tobacco cigarette & not white & brown.

Hi there Sludge, has it stopped raining yet? some summer, eh? I just popped on after an absence myself, and being a die-hard 401 fan, myself, started looking around the old haunts. I found M401 cartomizers (fancy that) at Sharp-Smoker.com so I know they exist, but haven't found them anywhere else yet. UPDATE: found them! smoore factory site ............. 50 pack for 40 bucks American and you can choose flavor/strength which is a bonus. I did find 510 cartomizers at HeavenGifts. Eastmall has 401 to 510 adapters, so I'm thinking of comparing 401 cartomizers to the 510 tank on a 401 batt (or maybe a 510 'clearomizer'?) Take care!
