What exactly is RY4?

I got a 20 mL from one of my orders, and it's my first time using the stuff. I can't pinpoint the flavor, but I KNOW I've tasted something like it before. I heard caramel/vanilla/amaretto, but one my friend (non smoker, or vaper) said it tasted like raspberries, I can't shake that thought. It definitely has a berry flavor to me, but I can't put my finger on it.

Also, another interesting thing I've heard is that it tastes differently to everyone. If that's true, then how can we figure out what flavor it would be most like, for who, and why?

What are your thoughts?

I've been struggling with the same question. Is it cotton candy? I picture blue cotton candy when I puff.

That's a little closer than "berry" like I said. But it's still not quite there...
It's kind of like cotton candy how it's a really sweet flavor, but not very powerful.

RY4 has to be the most interesting flavor of all, because a lot of vapers here seem to love it, but I can't stand it! It's not berry for sure! It's more like what burned metal would taste like after sitting in the sewer all day.

RY2 is sold and described by FreshSmoking as caramel, tobacco and vanilla, which sounds interesting to me, but they don't carry samples, so that means wasting a lot of money if you don't like a flavor. Well, that's just a cryin shame.

I don't know what it is, either, but I have just rediscovered it. I had some from NHaler that I had put aside and then forgotten about, and I found it the other day. I really, really like it. It has become my go-to flavor.

my roommate just said it tasted like green grapes. he doesn't vape, nor does he smoke anything that's not both illegal and green. the sad thing is, I don't taste berries anymore, but now i taste grapes and something else. Is RY4 really something that powerful?

I won't bother going into how much I utterly despise RY4, but I will say this...

I have never seen or heard of anything that is sooo subjective in taste. Some people swear it tastes like tobacco. Some swear it tastes like caramel & vanilla, some swear it has a cotton candy taste, and some others offer up other flavors they think it tastes like. I am starting to believe that each batch is totally different honestly because no one can sit there and say berries taste like caramel or cotton candy... this is getting stranger with every RY4 thread honestly.

But whatever it is you guys taste, I think it is the Dr Pepper of e-liquids.. you're either going to love it, or hate it, but there is absolutely no in-between.

All the RY4 I ever tried tastes the same, sweet and with a hint of ermmm...errr... I dunno but I like it!

I get candy floss (cotton candy) with slightly more than a hint of caramel and butter, and a hint of pipe tobacco. If there's any berry in there, it's blackberry or mulberry.

Whatever it is (and there is something that's in the background and after-taste that's very familiar but not shouting out "it's me"), I like it - I think RY4 is my fave flavour - close enough to tobacco to be reminiscent, but far enough away to be preferable.

I'm definitely in between; I don't love it, but I just like it. The curiosity involved definitely makes me vape it more though. But I just put a finger on something. Bubblegum.

I received my RY4 HV from nhaler today...the jury's still out on this one.

What I "can" taste on the finish reminds me of cedar or some other woodsy flavor...like I said, not too sure I'm liking this one.

HOWEVER, the vapor off the HV from a 510 is AMAZING! I'll be glad when the weekend gets here so I can build my 5V box.

All I know is that the RY4, which tastes to me like caramel and ...something else.. is my favorite "morning vape". Very gentle with lots of vapor. They DO seem to last a much shorter time.

The subjectivity of this flavor just got wider. I honestly shocked that a single flavor can bring out so many different responses.
Maybe we should start asking the question, what is RY4 not?
