I've been using 18mg reduced pg JC juice in my Njoy Npro. at first I get a nice mild throat hit with lots of vapor and flavor, but when the device is warmed up I get a very harsh TH (I still get lots of vapor and flavor).
I have to drip with this pv cause with the carts the juice has almost no vapor and no flavor, but still a harsh TH when the device is warmed up.

Can't wait for my Sidesho to get here.....:p

Have you tried packing different densities of polyfill in the Npro? I found that helped a lot.

when I take a drag holding the e-cig slightly sideways, letting a bit of air through at the same time, the hit is much stronger than when I drag like on a real cig, ie. lips completely surrounding the cartridge. Any clue what's happening there?
Just my 2p.

I've found more or less the same technique works great with the 510. I actually hold the thing pretty deep in my mouth with the mouth piece close to my cheek. Works a lot better. This is one of the many reasons why I prefer the standard round carts for the 510. Of course this isn't exactly what a lady would prefer :)
