What gives lest TH?

I was just wondering what can you do to have the lest amount of TH?
Is it the nic level?
Is it the pg/vg levels?
Can it even be the style of the battery or tank you use?

I've read alot about the vv batteries and as I am very ignorant to the "vape talk" I am not sure how they work or if they alter the flavor and/or TH that you receive.

I am asking because I like as little TH as possible (I know I'm the odd man out on that). I currently vape MBV blackberry 12 mg nic., @ 80% vg/20% pg. (that is my daily vape). Also at some point I will have to buy some new equipment and I want to learn as much as possible to that when I do make a larger investment into my vaping lifestyle I will make the best choice for me. Currently I use a Tsunami battery and I like the CE5 tanks with it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The nic level affects it more than anything, but you are correct in guessing that the mix ratio and device can also affect it.

If you can stand to drop your nic level any, that is the first thing that I would suggest. If you get into variable voltage/wattage, you can decrease the throat hit by vaping at a lower voltage. If you are not going to go the variable voltage rout any time soon, you could try buying clearos/heads/atomizers/whatever in a slightly higher resistance and mellow your vape out. PG does provide more of a throat hit to most people, I might try upping your VG percentage.

I was planning on trying some 6mg nic on my next order.
About the vg level mbv has PG 20% VG 80%, which is what I currently have. Then they also have VG 70% Distilled H20 30%, which I have heard provides a lesser TH. and they also have Max VG%. Do you think the 70% vg/ H2O 30% would be better than the max vg?
And when I go to replace the heads on my CE5 which level would be better, a 1.8 ohm head, a 2.4 ohm or a 2.8 ohm head?
I know this is alot of questions but many of you here at ecf have already experimented around and have figured out things from trial and error. I know that vaping is different for everybody but some things are kinda universal.
Thanks for the response and for the info.

I have never tried any of the blends that are cut with distilled water, but I have heard other people talking about them and even about using a little distilled water to cut a juice (of any blend) that is too strong. I am sure someone will chime in on that one soon. I really like a 50/50 blend. I am not overly sensitive to the PG or anything, but I do like the slight mellowness and increased vapor production.

Which heads have you been using, the 1.8s? These are just my opinions, but I think I would be happy using the 1.8's to get the most power to the atomizer. But since you want to bring the intensity down, I think the 2.4s might be something you would like. I don't even think you would like the 2.8s. With a battery that only puts out around 4v on a full charge, they are not going to make much vapor at all and take forever to heat up.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure how strong a non-vv battery was so I wasn't sure how high I could go. I think the ones I'm using now are the 1.8, so a 2.4 might be good. I think I'll try a bottle of the 70 vg/ 30 H2O to see how it is.
Thanks BigBaby for the help!

I'd also say try the 6 mg nic. I vape MBV juices and noticed a difference when I went from 12 mg to 6 mg. A higher VG ratio will also alter the TH for you a bit.

The delivery device can affect this to some degree as well although probably much less so than nic level and mix percentages. Since you mentioned you were already using a top coil device (CE5) you are probably okay there. I feel bottom coil feeders are less airy and provide slightly better throat hit than top coils.

Better to keep a Balance on the gear to avoid premature failure.
Vaping at to low power of to high resistance will usually lead to clogging equipment.

Higher VG base e-liquids lower throat hit.
Lower Nic reduced Th

Best health advice - Lower nic
Step down easy. Purchase 5mg while supply of 12 is in hand. mix some 12 & 6mg at 50% each and try Vaping 9mg before jumping down to 6 mg. Baby steps.:)

I agree with what you are saying. However, I don't think running a 2.4ohm coil at 3.5-4v is outlandish and harmful. I would just call that low voltage vaping.

Thanks for asking this question Susiejo. I have been trying to figure this out as well as I don't like a big TH either. So there are two of us at least. :) I'm ordering some stuff from Mt. Baker and all the answers you recieved - thank you all for the replies, too! - has helped me decide what adjustments to try. Lower nic for sure.

Thanks NGAHaze, I was wondering about the difference between the top coil and the bottom coil. Good to know I have the one I should be using.

Thanks crxess, I was planning on getting 6 mg to vape on throughout the day but keep on ecig with 12 mg in my sunroom to go puff on when I feel I need a bit more nic.

Your welcome cat58. I've been trying to study it out for myself but I kept running around in circles so I thought I'd ask some of the veteran vapers here since they've all "been there, done that". Makes it a bit easier and alot cheaper just to ask those who already know.
