I wonder if these would have the same crazy restrictions as vaping equipment in your town?

i feared restriction are fairly impossible or anywhere else in the world, matter of fact that this is how Big Tobacco are tryin to boost their revenues and again fooling the government with more tax money. Hopefully nobody will pick up smoking because of this "smart" device.

I would think they would restrict this as well. Because if they don't, Then it shows just how hypocritical they are.

"evaporates into a flavored vapor"
"doesn't cause that telltale smoker smell"
"looks like a regular cigarette"
"battery-powered, pen-like device"
"produces a nicotine-infused vapor that you inhale through a mouthpiece"

basically describes a cigalike. also banned here. If they ban one and not the other, The authorities would lose credibility.

Exactly! On the brighter side of things though, if they do legalize this locally then we'd finally have something to use for our fight in the legalization of vapes!
Else, they would be contradicting themselves and losing credibility as you said ;D

If this heat-not-burn is legalize, then all the theories saying "its all about the $$$" is very true. Applies to the whole world especially FDA.

Philip Morris, RJ Reynolds are involved in this... you get the picture?

The sad part is because it's Big Tobacco they will be allowed to sell these things like hot cakes everywhere even though this statement was in the article:

"...But can the gimmick actually help you quit? Is it even safe? The short answer is, we don't know yet. The longer answer is as controversial, scientifically murky and politically complex as the heated debate on the health effects of e-cigarettes."

Hypocrites!!!

I can almost certainly be sure that this heat-not-burn thingamajig will definitely be allowed, and it will be successful in Singapore. Especially Singapore. Because Singapore is small. Good for test market(And us Singaporeans are technology freaks.) and initial product exposure. And because it's taxable.

And the hidden statement will be: "In your face, vapers! What you all gonna do about it?"

I don't know about you guys, but I will still try my best to spread the existence of E-cigs to existing smoker friends. Even if they do use this
Heat-not-burn siamewakoh. Even if it means I managed to spread to 1 person at a time.
