I'm not a GG user(yet) but anything involving repairable attys is great news as far as i'm concerned,so best of luck with your Iatty 2 Imeo.
I think attys are the most important bit of hardware for getting a satisfying vape. They are also the weakest link because they clog, become unstable or perform ok with some liquids and not with others.
For me the biggest innovators were obviously the chinese, and i still think that dripping into a really good 510(1 out of 20?) is the best way to vape.
Repairable attys come second in my list, correct me if i'm wrong but i think Cetin Sugur and his Bulli attys where the first commercially available. But it is still a copy of a chinese atty, wick and resistance wire.
Raidy and his Genisis have a lot of fans but i have not been able to get a mesh wick to work better than a Bulli glass wick, and the tank systems are not for me.I like to change flavors all the time plus i fly a lot,all tank systems leak like crazy as cabin press decreases unless you keep them upright...(exception,the non spillable inkwell concept repairable atty would probably work ok).
I have great hopes for Raidy's upcoming atty, very little info but it is supposedly wickless and wireless...we'll see.

Imeo, have you ever thought about adding a USB charger to your mods?.Since you are apparently getting into VV and electronics maybe you could look into chargers too,i have a humble non glamorous Bartleby box mod that is so convenient to use because it recharges a 14500 really quick...

mcrt, Chinese were not the innovators of atomizers, an American guy was 40 years ago but his invention didnt came on market.
Getin just copied a china cigar with his A1. A2 was just a smaller A1.
Raidy replaced the wick with steel mesh and that was an invention but we still dont know how healthy is inhaling the rust of the mesh
Tank systems are for you because you can stil drip on them (I dont really know about other tanks but at least on Iatty you can) or fill them only a little so you can change flavor any time
Not all tank systems leak like crazy. For example Iatty doesnt leak exept some of them only because of the lower plastic. On new Iatty2 I have put an o-ring in the apropriate place to avoid even this small leakage
I was the first one on ecf 2 years ago that made the first USB for a mod but I stopprd producing it because I couldnt stick right the plastic around the usb wire and it came loosy all the time. But I have in mind the way to do it again and it will be done soon.:)

Did not know about that american inventor.Respect for that unknown genius.
What i mean about tanks leaking in aircraft is not a problem of faulty seals,as cabin pressure decreases(airplane climbs) the liquid+air in the tank will expand.Mostly it will be the air that expands as liquids are far less compressible than air(sorry if compressible is a non existent word hehehe).
Unless the device is held in such a way that only the air in the tank is against the wick exit (upright for a Genisis in original config, tank below the atty) the juice will come out.Even closed juice bottles will leak a bit if they do not seal perfectly,i try to keep them upright to avoid a potential mess.
Glad to hear that the Iatty is dripping friendly. And please keep the drippers in mind for that Iatty 2,there's a lot of us who like it simple!.
USB yes!,it's really great to plug into the computer or car charger.Allows to carry much smaller batteries, all advantages so please go for it.
A GG stealth with USB and Iatty 2...sounds pretty interesting.Cheers!.

Glad to hear you are thinking about another USB passthrough in the future Imeo I know the ones out there are highly sought after.

As for innovation that has always been my own biggest complaint about myself. I can usually figgure out how things work easily enough but I guess I am one of the sheeple because I rairly have a unique thought lol.

Honestly I think as PV's become more mainstream there will be more innovations I just think right now some people are afraid to try because of the investment loss possability.

Cost is a big factor that prevent people to make something fright, I agree. I pay more than 500 euros everytime I want to make an experiment, another 500 euros to correct my mistakes, much more money to order something unique like the new ceramic inside Iatty2 (mold cost me a fortune), and too many thousands euros to make many pieces of GG series. Money are too much for everyone. I had enough money to start my hobby but thats not everyone's purpose

Jonah, I am very glad you say this. Also I know the improvements you made on your E2 feeder. Steel caps, o-ring to seal and make E2 go in and out easily, a bigger diameter on the base of the top cap to make silicon slip nice and easy, bigger diameter to the end of the bottom cap and smaller on the top of it to fit and keep nice the E2. All those are improvements that makes our life easy. You took an idea and you made it much better. Keep walking buddy:)
My pennys worth...I lost intrest in looking at other mods the day i tryed my first GG.The long serch was over from that day.

So as long as you Imeo keep the inovations going and dont lose intrest. ill be happy.

Yes and as I say many times, that is the biggest thing that makes the GG so special. You make them with passion for satisfaction. Many if not most make products only for the profit. That is no sin as we all have to pay bills but it does make a world of difference between the GG and the rest. ;)

You've got to wonder what else there really is to cover when it comes to mechanical mods. It seems to me that most of what's left is just refining and improving quality. The real advancements are going to be in things like VV, miniaturization, etc. Of course, that's assuming the status quo as far as batteries remains. If we ever actually see nanowire batteries then that's a game changer.
