Iatty is a workhorse at high voltages psycho. I am glad you finally got it!
Man...Keep it up, Imeo! I just could not resist Para's awesome price for an Iatty and bought one. While I might have to make due with ramen noodles and a few other things (no xbox live subscription, it was due and I decided to cancel the auto-renewal) they are all things I can do without. I am vaping at super high voltage and need something that can take the "heat"! So I am glad to say....I FINALLY got an IATTY!!!! THANK YOU PARA!

Lord, I am glad for your choise about Iatty and also I am sure that you are right about the future systems. I have heard many times on ecf that I have made something beyond my limits but this time I went even further. My only concern is that it has to work as I want.
Congrats on the iAtty psycho. I think the iAtty or possibly iAtty2 will be the direction that many new systems will be going. I absolutely love mine, to me it's the best thing out for it's flexibility. I have turned mine into a genisis for example :)

I don't know. There are only so many ways to deliver power to an atomizer and there only so many ways to supply heat to the juice. The dual coil cartos are pretty new and innovative. The DCC tanks are an unexpected development that came straight out of the syringe mod. The CE2s and fluxomizers are fairly new and coming along. I'll also say that there is a lot more interest in repairable atomizers than there used to be and the market is moving that direction. Now if we could just get a reliable supply of iattys in the US... :)

The thing is, I suspect there has been a bit of a change in the market in the last year. More and more new people have come in needing simple to use hardware. Right or wrong, the 510 thread has become the standard for everything new. There is more interest in mods but, the capacity to satisfy that interest is limited at least for the better ones.

I do love the dual coil cartos but they cannot be the XL sized ones, the regular dual coils are great. I tried the fluxomizers and CE2's and I don't know how people enjoy that.

You're a better man than I am. I haven't tried them yet. Too many people still reporting too many problems but, they keep revising them. They will get them right eventually. I just got around to trying my first dual coil. I went ahead and added a syringe mod tank to try two things at once. :)

I'm sure that it will. I am very excited to see what the future will bring :)

I am late to the thread (as always!) but as usual, I have some definite ideas about the lack of innovation. I think part of it is just human nature. Both end users and makers get in a comfort zone and tend to move from innovation to production method improvements and then to the cost factor.

I was actively involved in the firearms industry as it pertained to my profession of law enforcement. The number of innovations that industry saw for almost a full century in the 1900's was arguably non-existent. Even today, with the exception of the way the ammunition is made and the materials used in the weapons construction, there has very little changed in over a century.

John Browning was a notable exception in that he was nefver satisfied with his designs. He constantly sought to improve their function and reliability as well as create new and more efficient models but again, he was an exception to the rule.

The same could be said for the automotive industry where innovation only came when after fossil fuels were recognized as harmful to the environment but the real driving factor it seems was that there was realized a true end of the resources to make the fuel.

I point a finger at myself first but I think we as humans are lazy as to innovations. If something works, why try to make it better unless there is a true financial reward for doing so. But thankfully we do have the Imeo's of the world who are not happy with the status quo.

You know there is always a better way to do things and you are never satisfied with your designs feeling there has to be a better way or a better function. I think that is one reason so many people love the GG series. It fights against the trends of being happy with the way things already are.

Although I haven't the skill or means to create anything better, I do feel there is a simple saying that applies to this discussion. You are either moving forward or backwards. There is no standing still. If you are innovating, you are moving forward. If you are satisfied with things as they are as time moves on, then you are moving backwards for time waits for no man.

Sorry for the wall of text but just my 2 cents. :)

I agree about VV silentt but I am more proud for the Iatty2 that I am making right now. I hope that it will work as I want. I also think that I already found its name. Mult-i-atty, lol

Well, there goes another good contest down the drain!!!!

I think part of the thing, is that most vendors are not pushing innovation. They are comfortably making money, thinking what they have is "good enough". I'm glad GG and the GG family are always looking to improve, what are without a doubt, the pinnacle of innovation in this industry. You can be smart, and copy or rehash someone else's ideas, or you can be creative, and find your own way. :) We can rest comfortably on our laurels, and enjoy what you have already created, or we can continue to explore and find the "perfect vape"

Your passion is exceptional Imeo, as I believe it is for the rest of the GG family. This is serious business :) People's lives ultimately are at stake.

We as consumers (and in this industry, we ARE the innovators) get to decide, do I want to help push innovation, or just enjoy what's around. I could be perfectly happy vaping on my UFS or my iAtty for the rest of my life, and never think twice about it. But there is something about GG and the GG family that doesn't allow me to sit still. There is still so much to learn and discover IMHO. :)

Another company worth mentioning about innovation is Apex and their Alpha Ultra series.
There have a very unique design and i know they are currently working on a better feeding system using a new type of ceremic.

But then in saying that what i have read and heard is GG is still the leader in innovation in this industry.

Imeo mentioned them in the first post. You may not have noticed cuz it was misspelled he wrote alfa and its ceramic or somethin like that. That being said, that feeding system is pretty good and am curious to see what else they come up with, they were suppose to have an all american atty out around Aug but looks like they ran into some snags.

I am not afraid of competition Zu. I know what I can make. Maybe some day someone will make something better than me but for now I feel safe
Congrats to your Croatian friend. Europe makes the best mods ever :thumb:

Still pretty new to the GG family but have to say that the only other thing I would consider looking at is your VV module. My UFS is rock steady with proper cleaning and lubing. As far as iAtty, I tried it and found it to be more tinkering than I needed in my day and frequently needed to change the innards. I'm happy to look at iAtty 2 and will probably buy one but for me the UFS is " set and forget ". I love that aspect of it and will buy a spare in 20 days;). Smoked sone analogs over the weekend and yuk. Went to my hotel room and grabbed my GGTS. Sometimes I get tired of explaining it to people and grab one of my wifes analogs.

So I think people probably don't think they can beat the GG Imeo. It's perfect in my book.

Congrats!!!!

Chris
