Swirling colors is perfectly fine. Swirling gray and black with an eye at the end of the tunnel is not fine if it didn't feel of positive origin. You will know, you will feel the energy and you will know if it's positive or negative.
Rule of thumb: If it's frightening to you, then it's not good for you. It can either be of negative origin, or something that you're not ready for.
Many years back i started to leave my body, this was before I knew anything about this stuff. It scared me to death and I immediately snapped myself out of it and pulled back. I wasn't ready for that and it was totally unexpected. I"m still not ready for that so I don't even go there.
There is alot of negative energies out there and it's not a toy.
